Default 4 Strength Orc Blitzer....
...Just advanced and rolled doubles (yes he rolled 12 for his first advancement to add Strength!). So I was curious what people may suggest. Should I go with the standard Dodge? Or something else? I'm willing to take any and all advice...

The league is balanced between bash and dodge with slightly more bash.

Take jump up, then you are ready for migthy blow, piling on. Or as a more unusual but effective build, give him catch and use him as a super carrier, with sure hands next time

I was kind of thinking jump up, but the uber ball carrier is SO tempting.

Surely a Blodge carrier is much better than one that saves a few team re-rolls on hand-offs and pick-ups? Boring works!

A blodger migth be best, but we were asked for other builds also and the catch/sure hands blitzer combo will work wonders. Not easy to get into a cage and then discover that your target have strength 4 and sure hands on top of that, not to mention that he has AV 9 and would most likely just be able to stand up and take the ball again.

And if the ball is stripped before he has sure hands, then he has two attempts at catching the bouncing ball, not bad

Putting a Str 4 Blitzer into a cage ? Instead of letting him hit others ? I think that is TV bloat with not much use.

I'd rather pick pro on him... so he could try re-rolls on catch and other stuff too.

Depends. New team, yes. If he already has a Tackle, MB, PO blitzer, then using the ST 4 one to build a ballcarrier instead isn't that bad.

Diving Tackle is another option. Follow up with Tackle and later on Frenzy.

I like the Jump Up idea. Makes him a much bigger threat. Diving Tackle is nice... if the player also has Side Step (or Stand Firm), otherwise, he will just get pushed away.

The best combo for a marker is IMO ST4, Block, Dodge, Side Step (or Stand Firm), Tackle and Diving Tackle, but that's not so easy to get one player.
