Default Angry Chilies
So the new season is lurking at the start of next year and I want to give chaos pact a go, I have never played them, I have fiddled a little on a roster and have come op with this roster:

Angry chilies:
  • 1 Bhut Jolokia Minotaur,
    Juggernaut, Piling On, Stand firm & Guard, 28 cas & 2 mvp = 66 Spp

  • 2 Aji Dulce Chaos Troll,

Hehe, one of the problems with cyandie is those teams are missing so i have no idea how they play.

I think a lot of CPOMB on the marauders as well is called for, but considering how you normally build your teams I think that is a given.

The first match has been, and it was a triumf I faced a chaos dwarf team, but little did I care as I outplayed him for a 2-0 win and after hunting his hobgobs I ended with 5-0 caswise These chilies seem strong. I got no skill from the match, but was damn close. The mino - Bhut Jolokia made two cas, so in turn 16 with no rerolls I deside to try a blitz with him and it worked and a dwarfs armour was beaten, but sadly only a KO was rolled Ahh well six players now have SPP and I got myself 60k so thats going for an apoth.

The build with 4 rerolls really took of great as they were much needed. Having the mino from the start was very nice allthough he did refuse to hit 5 times, 3 of those being blitzes

Second match has been and it was also a triumf. This time against a human team. He desided that I should kick and I did so with pleasure. He failed his pick up with the surehands thrower and I swarmed forward, marking him up and getting near the ball - I could not reach it. Then he managed to dodge away and pick up the ball, but wanted to GFI in order to get out of interception reach from my dark elf. This turned up to be another blind snake somewhere.

I blitzed him away from the ball and did a pick up with my Dark elf and handed it over to the skaven for a nice 1-0 lead after only 2 turns Then he managed to get the ball secured, I put alot of preasure on him and even managed to crowdsurf the ball, but it bounched nicely for him. However the crowd desided to kill the catcher But humans are so cheap that they can start with an apoth and this one was a guru and soon the cathcer was back in the game.

He had to score after some desperate dodging though and gave me 2 turns before halftime. I pushed real hard but my maurader fell for the old tripwire trick just before the endzone and headdived into the endzone without any ball

Second half and I recieved and after long time trying to get past his line, managed to get a TD in turn 7, giving him only 2 turns to score. He rushed 3 players into my half, and I did a mino blitz so nicely that the target was KOŽed and the 2 other players was tied up by mino. Mino failed the intercept attempt but he did a fumble so the match was won

Best part was that my troll did a cas and got the MVP and then rolled 5+5 And Scorpion Butch my hero gobbo, did a cas also The skaven rolled a normal skill up so its block for him. I will also go with block on the troll instead of juicy claws - I can always get that on the next double

This contradicts your suggestion for Rat Ogres. And as rat ogres without juggernaut throw at least twice as many blocks as trolls (probably even more) rat ogres could use block more.

So why didn't you live up to your killer reputation? Are you kinder in tabletop?

Hell no Im no kinder, but with 3 big guys and the troll being the least desiable to use, his purpose is to be so stable as a big guy can be. The troll needs a babysitter in order to be as effective as the ogre or the mino, so giving it block will hopefully make the troll more of a nuisance even when he is alone and just standing, doing nothing but taking up alot of space.

If he ever rolls another double I would even consider to just give him tentackles.

Trolls lose their tackle zones on a 1 and if they have no baby sitter on 1,2 & 3. The ratogre never loses tacklezones and thats why the troll should not be used as much as the rat ogre!

When I had a goblin team, since the goblins were all dead or stunned, my trolls had to block way more !
