Hi – long time reader of the site and only recently got my finger out and actually registered. I live in Southampton , UK and am a long time player of the game. Started with 2nd edition (God bless polystyrene pitches) in my youth, so that’ll probably date me quite well. I’ve been playing ever since through all the various editions. I started with a mixed race Chaos Team back in the days of Blood Bowl Superstars, the Warptide Pirates, which eventually merged into the new edition Chaos. I also own Humans (Nuln Night Watch), Orcs (Facebeatas), Wood Elves (Wylde Hunt) and most recently the Ogres of the Great Gut Devourers, who are my current painting project. I have a few other teams planned, which will be Amazons, another Elf team I haven’t yet decided upon and the Chaos Pact incarnation of the Warptide Pirates (going back to my first ever team). I can also be found on FUMBBL and in BBLE Auld World (I have only recently bought the game). I tend to play in a group of about 8 or so friends and I have won a couple of friendly leagues we’ve run. Most notable was my Wood Elves being one of three teams tied for the lead with one match left to play (with another Wood Elf team and a Halfling side as well … shocking I know). I was 1-0 down against Dwarves whilst both my challengers were winning at half time. I finally scored with 3 turns left on the clock, only to see a Wardancer do an awesome cage leap, smash, grab ball and dodge out of the dwarf lines. The Wardancer even survived the dwarf reprisal to run in my final TD and take the league title. Needless to say that one play has become the stuff of legends in our friends. We are just starting on our latest league too, which you can read about in the league development forums. In real life (boring!) I play most GW stuff. I’m also a rugby player and fan of Blackburn Rovers FC for my sins.

Ooh. I'm a Liverpool fan, but I and every Liverpool fan supported your lot for one day in 1995 as we beat you and Man U threw their title away against West Ham. Having said that I ran into a mob of your lot in Amsterdam a few years ago and to cut a long story short, they seemed to have forgotten, screaming 'where were you in 95?' (At Anfield - wearing a Blackburn shirt is the answer.) As long as you weren't one of those ones you're OK by me though. Welcome. And altogether now... "You're only one season wonders!"

Barninho - thankfully it was not me. Based on our average attendances though, its nice know you have met the other two Rovers fans ...

| Hi Avatar, Nice to hear there is some Blood Bowl going on in Southampton again. If you aren't already aware, there is the Albion Coast Cup taking place in the Hobbit on the 27th and 28th August (Bank Holiday Weekend). There is also the Thruddball in Bognor Regis first weekend of August and the guys in Poole are running a tournament on the 10th and 11th Sept. You can get some cool light/bright green block dice as well if you sign up for the NAF. If you already have them then forgive me for telling you what you already know!

I had no idea my welcoming would open up the old rivalry between such verment enemies. Of course its not a real rivalry. Try a few Blackburn and Burnley derbies - then we can talk ... ![]() I'm looking forwards to giving the Crunch Cup V a good go. Getting in lots of practice on Auld World. If we can ignore the 6-2 Nuffling my Elves took the other night (it was all my thrower's fault - 3 sets of snake eyes to fumble or fall any time a Gutter Runner was nearby. And he 1 turn scored me too - even after a perfect D)
