@ Coachman, I have no problem with two or any other number of humans. I desided on humans because I play woodies and chaos in my TT league and I want to practise playing humans as I have enter a human team for a tournament on the first weekend of october.

PS. I´m all for 4 minutte turns

I suppose, though there is also a 4 min turn limit on table top and that has to include all the book keeping that the game does for you.

So IMO a 3 minute Cyanide turn is the equivalent of a 4 min Tabletop turn.
And whilst I agree with the Panda that this is Chess not Chequers, there is a such thing as Chess Clocks to add an element of excitement to the game.

Though I have tried playing the 40 sec games and they are so frantic that it isn't fun. Especially when you run out of time mid-block and it comes up Attacker Down + Defender Down; but because you ran out of time it autoselects the first dice!


True about the "select deep, oh carp I've hit end turn!". Now I am always sure to scroll well up so that the target of selection is in the middle of the screen.

I'm not sure you can choose 3 min turns as standard in cyanide, I'm pretty sure the choices are 40s, 2m or 4m.

You can, the 40s, 2 min and 4 min are only for MM and challenges.
But the League Admin has a few more choices.

All the other leagues I am in have 3 min turns, and we rarely run out of time.

I guess we just differ there. I don't see time pressure as anything even remotely resembling fun or excitement (in any game not just blood bowl).

There is also such a thing as chess boxing... genius.

I now have 9 signed up. Every race is represented bar lizards (until Narly finishes his jollies) with the only double being Orc. Who are we missing?

If its not filled by Wednesday 2200ish (what ever time I get back from BJJ) I'll get my brother signed up so we can roll on Wednesday.

I'll play, bought a copy of the game months ago cause it was cheap and it is still wrapped in plastic...
