Blood Bowl Novels, any good?

Ironhand's daughter is ok. The hawk eternal is good. His books Lion of Macedon and Dark Prince are also favourites of mine.

Thanks for some of these recommendations. My sister is a fantasy nut, and I've now pretty much got Christmas and Birthdays sorted for a couple of years thanks to this thread

I also really enjoyed "Morningstar" by D Gemmell. It seemed quite different from the others of this that I've read but still very enjoyable.

I was less keen on the latest Troy Series but they still hooked me in and I finished them in no time!

For the sister I'd got with the Sword of Truth series if she hasn't already read them. There are 11 books in the series, they're all quite long (>400 pages) so you can realistically justify them as the complete birthday/christmas present without having to get an extra. Plus there is, at present, 2 series of the TV show which I'd get her after she's read all the books. So that's 13 presents in total = 6.5 years!

I like morningstar too. I wasn't a massive fan of the troy books, thought they were pretty weak.

Conversely, the generally historical Lion of Macedon is up there as one of my favourites, and to a lesser extent, so is Dark Prince.

Has anybody read the comic mini series called Killer contract? Its a 5 issue comic. Is it worth getting?

The comics reasonably amusing but nothing special, Boom's done some decent warhammer/40k comics but this one isn't one of the better ones.
