| You boasted not having any dodge (your the only one without in the Top 2 of each Division) when I was discussing the pros and cons of getting tackle !

| Hehe, yeah, you're right. Having dodge on a key player or two would perhaps have helped. I stand humbled before you

| At this point I think the only player I'll consider Dodge for is the MV8 Pestigor. I agree with the people who says to get it early or don't get it at all if you don't have regular access to it. Still, my FOL Nurgle team has 4 blodging Warriors and it has been pretty funny playing them ST4+, Blodge, AV9, Foul Appearance and Regen is the closest you'll get to immortality in Blood Bowl.

| Just thought I should update the blog before my play-off match is due. MD 7 of the CC saw me matched up against Vufsnuv's Chaos team, the Rams, and even before the match started I had one main goal: To get rid of that Clawed Mino as fast as possible to be able to keep my Guard/Strength advantage and secure the sidelines. To that purpose I leveled one of my Rotters with Dirty Player before the match, the other Rotter got Kick. The coinflip went in Vufsnuvs favour and he chose to recieve. What could've been an easy defense for me got turned into a nightmare by Vufsnuv's clever diversion on my left flank with his Mino pushing one of my Warriors towards the sidelines supported by a couple of Beastmen, forcing me to commit extra players to avoid being surfed. Meanwhile, Longcat(BoN) went stupid 2 turns in a row, enabling the Rams to muscle their way down my right flank. Vufsnuf could've made a TD in his turn 5, but chose to stall. This proved an unlucky decision as a couple of my Warriors near the Mino managed to BH his +ST Beastman and KO one of his Warriors. Vufsnuv made the TD in turn 6, giving me 3 turns to equalize. I didn't manage that, due to some poor ball handling and positioning, but got a Guard Beastman out of the equation with a Casualty and stomped another one BH with my DP. After half time I recieved a deep kick, took down Vufsnuvs LoS and eventually caged up. At this point, the game was pretty much a scrum a bit into Vufsnuvs half. Armor rolls went my way and I went up injuring another Beastman and outright killing a Chaos Warrior. Before equalizing, I had put the boot in the Mino, KO'ing him. This didn't discourage him enough as he was back on the field again together with the KO'd Warrior at kick off. At this point I think I was 11 vs 10 and with my Guard and Strength advantage, I figured I was in a good spot to grab a second TD and a win. My kick was picked up by his +AG/Strong Arm Beastman, who promptly fled to the relative safety of his backfield while being screened by his players. I stupidly get some of my key players tied up on his left flank but manage to injure yet another Beastman and also BH'ing the Mino with the last foul of the match, freeing me from the threat of MB/Claws. This third foul finally gets my DP Rotter sent off, but I've put three Pestigors into blitzing range of his ball carrier so I feel reasonably secure. Vufsnuv then manages to find a spot for his Beastman to make an amazing throw into the waiting arms of a Chaos Warrior on my side of the half, who then runs towards my end zone. Luckily I get him down with a 2D block, because that would've been the most shameful defeat ever after putting so much effort into hurting him and then getting outplayed like that. Finally, I am unable to make the 3+ pickup which should be followed by a 3+ handoff and TD (I had a RR left), but that really didn't matter much to me as Vufsnuv at least deserved a draw from this. Thanks for the match, Vufsnuv, and sorry for all the damage caused. Good luck to you in the play-offs! After the match, Watermelon Cat picked up an extra arm to be able to rectify his appearant inabilty to handle the ball. The draw was enough to give me the 1st place in division 2, due to Tronak and Viajero also drawing. I'm now anticipating my 1st play-off round against Rusty's Let There Be Blight, who will be missing their Rat Ogre but getting close to 400k in Inducements. A fearful amount considering their 3 well developed Gutter Runners, and I'm a bit miffed that I didn't manage to get the final SPP on my Wrestligor to make him a Wrackligor. Still, hitting power is definately on my side and with a real scoring threat in Watermelon Cat, I think the next match has the potential to become a real nail-biter.

| Nice game report... Good Luck against Rusty... if it weren't for his bad luck at critical moments I wouldn't have won. His Rat Ogre is MNG AGAIN ?! When is the last time that big rat played a full match ?

| You sure do push them to the brink of death... and beyond... ![]() Still I'd figure a Rat Ogre would be a bit more resilient...

| Actually, I also add to say that bad luck wasn't a factor in my loss to you! Given that you won a triumph in adversity award for that match I certainly had the luck overall. The reasons I lost in that match were threefold: having a battered team after my game with Dreamy, not playing very well, and you playing well.
