I'm planning on playing in a Resurrection Tournament soon, and have decided to play my Chaos team (as they're the only team I have painted). My roster will most likely be: 1x Minotaur 4x Chaos Warriors 6x Beastmen 3x Rerolls 1x Fan Factor I'm not certain on what skills to take, however. The rules for the Tournament are as follows: The rules are Resurrection, buy a team for 1100000 - then choose one skillpack: * Skill Pack A: 6 normal skills - You must give six different players normal skill (not double skills) * Skill Pack B: 4 normal skills + a double skill - You can give a player a double skill and also provide four other players with normal skill * Skill Pack C: 2 normal + 2 double Skills - You must give two players a double skill and also provide two other players with a normal skill I was thinking giving block to the Minotaur and 4 Chaos Warriors... this would give me a good, hitty team for beating down my opponents, but ball handling and defense might be a problem. I could also focus on giving the beastmen skills, and use the minotaur and Chaos Warriors like Saurus. I could give the Minotaur tentacles, hand out wrestle to a couple of the beastmen, and give sure hands, kick, or similar skills to a couple others. Please give me your thoughts and suggestions! Thanks!

A quick one is claws for the mino, Block for 2 warriors and guard for two warriors and a beast with sure hands. I think using a double on the mino is bad choise when you can get the claw mighty blow combo for free

I would go A: Claw/Jugg Mino (Depends on the other team's AV) Blockx3 Chaos Warrior Wrestle Beastman (Works great vs Blodge ball carriers and with 1d vs str 4 ball carrier makes 3/6 results drops the ball) Guard beastman (more mobility than CW, leaves a CW open to make a 1 standing 1 prone mark, forces 3 players to get a 2d block on him)

| With Chaos taking 6 skills seems the obvious choice. I doubt you can change the skills from game to game based on the opponent though. I don't think you could go that far wrong taking Block on four players, and Sure Hands and Wrestle. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

As Coach says, Block on all the Chaos Warriors, Sure Hands on one beast and Wrestle on another is a good pick. Substituting Wrestle for Frenzy will give you a high risk (but potentially high reward) alternative, allowing you to be aggressive and look for surfs while still having a decent chance of downing an enemy ball carrier.

The tournament that I was participating in was Gen Con Bowl 2011. It was a good time, but I ended up going 1-1-2. I tied against a Slann team, lost to a mean Dark Elf team (my Minotaur decided to kill himself on my first turn), defeated a second Chaos team (w/o a Minotaur), and then just barely lost to an Orc team on the last turn after a stunning pass to a lineman for the TD. I managed to get 11 casualties, which was 2 shy of the top number of casualties for the tournament. Block and Sure Hands came in very handy, although Wrestle ended up not being very useful. I think I would rather have given the Minotaur Claws, or taken a player with Tackle. All in all, a good day, though! Last edited by magi; 10th August 2011 at 03:06 PM.

only four games? I don't like travelling to tournaments with five games let alone four! still not a terrible result with chaos only losing the one game
