That sounds like the game I played last night against Lizardmen on the PC. Starting Skaven team vs. starting Lizardmen.

By half time the score was 1-0 to them and I had a dead linerat, a dead Gutter Runner, a Storm Vermin with a smashed ankle (though the Apoc made him badly hurt) and another Gutter Runner with a broken neck! (-1AG).

It was not a good game!

If they were on Positionals then retirement might be the only option.

One was a Blitzer. I kept my Elf team going after losing three players in the first game including two Catchers (Dead & -AG) just to see if I can rebuild them. After four games they have two skilled Throwers with no one to pass too! I am saving up to buy two catchers after another couple of games.
