Default Danish Championship
This weekend I go to play in the Danish Championship. The rules are simple:

1.1 mill, resurection tourney with swiss draw.

My undead team gets 3 normal skills for day one, and 2 normal and a double for day 3.

The first day is five matches and the second day is 3 matches.

I will enter with:

2 mummies
2 wights
4 ghouls
4 zombies
and 3 rerolls, 1 babe, 1 coach, 1 FanFactor

My first 3 skills will be:

1 Guard mummy, 1 frenzy wight and a block ghoul.

Second day skills will be:

1 block mummy, 1 wrestle ghoul and 1 guard wight.

So far there are 24 coaches in the tourney - I hope for a top half finish as this is my first time in the tourney and some of them are very very good - but with me new screaming green NAF dice anything can happen

Id neglect the mummies, your gouls and wights will see all of the action.

Can you buy the same skill set over and over?

Goul: sure hands
wight: guard
wight: tackle

day 2

goul: wrestle
goul: block
mummy: block

Its the same skills all the way. I can see your point, I will however never take tackle, frenzy is so much more in use against all teams so that will win any day in my book. Another option could be:

Ghoul - block,
wight - guard,
wight - frenzy and then for day two,
Ghoul - wrestle,
Ghoul - Guard,
Ghoul - block

With 3 rerolls I do not need surehands over block

Best of luck with it, look forward to hearing how you do.

I do find the idea of a tabletop tournament fun.. just need to paint my teams and get some TT practice lol.

For me I prefer your first idea Smurf. It has the potential to be horribly good.

Must say that I also lean towards that. Getting the mummies in action is what I normaly do, and they are very good at dominating the center while I sneak along behind them with the ball

Well that's the thing that makes me like it. You tend to play brutal from my experience and I can see you wrecking teams with that skill set. Go with your heart mate.

Also with skills on the mummies it's much tougher to smack them skills off the pitch. I think coachman's logic is boss, but you aren't one to favor logic over brutality now are you?

I'm totally on page with that one Netsmurf. You will like to use your rr's on something else than picking up and will help you also against WE
