This Mummy Elizabeth sure seems scary ! How many of her blocks that didn't' injure or maim ?!

I was wondering about the babes too... seems that buying an extra lineman would have been more sensible.

Elisabeth Bather threw eight blocks, seven three-dicers that were "successful" and one two-dicer that only was a push. (On a rogre)

And out of seven blocks she broke armor six times.

And out of those six times she caused one KO and four casualties.

Soo.. 50% of blocks?

-

Not much maiming this game though - one kill, two MNG and five BH. (And the MNG:s came from a foul and a failed dodge, so blocking was even "kinder".)

Mother Baker sadly rolled +AG on her last skillup, so she's got Guard and Stand Firm.

Being a block-less mummy she got to throw four blocks (one of them rerolled just because I wanted a , but that didn't work out.) Three of them successful, two broke armor - one stun and one cas.

So, three games have gone by, six games remain this season, and I thought it was time to figure out in which order I would be facing teams..
  • MD 4: Bob & My Yak - Overweight Turnips - Goblin - GMT
  • MD 5:Dalryk - Revenge of the Snotballz - Goblin - GMT+10
  • MD 6:Yogojojo - Das Oktoberfists - Dwarf - GMT-5
  • MD 7:DaRock - Brain Hunter - Necromantic - GMT+1
  • MD 8: Workers Central Committee - Batlanta Graves - Vampire - GMT-5
  • MD 9:Wererat - Halifax Harbour Dog - Human - GMT -4

It seems as if the time for getting inducements is over. I might get some from Brain Hunter, and the Halifax Harbor Dogs and Das Oktoberfists are unlikely to get any, but the rest of the teams will probably be sucking them in from me?

Next two games are against goblins, luckily Ivan the Annoying just picked up tackle so I have a 2D-blitzer taking down on 75% available for gobbo-hunting along with Elisabeth and Vlad. (ST 5 Block takes down average gobbo on 70%. If the gobbo is blodge or wrodge the odds go down to 55% or 42%, so tacke is always better - except that Elisabeth has MB, etc.)

Then I have to turn around straight away and play against dwarves. Hopefully a second of my three guard ghouls will have gotten block/wrestle by then.

Then comes Darock with his MBPOJU Blodge WW and ST4 Tackle DT Wight among other notables. He's done a lot of work to get such a nice team with only nine games more than me.

After that, fouling thralls and scary vampires and a somewhat dubious human team. (The dogs have already conceded a game against said vampires)

Played the Overweight Turnips who got Ripper, three bribes and a babe. (I sacked former rat Titania just because I didn't think I'd need that many players - which I didn't)

The Turnips won the toss and I got to kick. A riot ensued and they scored in turn 4. I scored in turn 8, then again in turn 16. Then they one-turned with zero rerolls. Draw.

Ah well, new goblin team next week, we'll see what I can get then..

Where is the replay? I would like to see your defence against the 1turn TD.

It's in !OCC 5B or something like that.

I just did the weakest one - three guys on LOS and the rest lined up spaced ahead of the endzone (to force three dodges) and the eleventh guy a bit up the midfield to possibly be in the way for a pass.

The kick landed in front of one of his guys, in just the corner where he had set up for TTM. (Basically any other direction would have made it harder for him, and 5 of the seven directions would probably have made it impossible, as would a shorter scatter)

He picks up, hands off to AG 4 sprint goblin, who is tossed to land in my lone guys tacklezone, yet sticks the landing. After that he was home free with 4 2+ rolls with dodge reroll. (For all the other rolls he had zero rerolls - chance to succeed for the whole shenaningan is Samba:ed to 14%, not counting all the lucky scatters)

If I have 11 to defend against a TTM, then the back 8 are always set to give maximum TZ for the landing roll. So I put a line of 4 players 7 squares down and then another line of 4 players 9 squares down. Should he scatter 3 squares forward then he will land in a TZ but only need 2 dodges, but anything shorter will force many dice to be rolled

Yea. I BH his AG4 gobbo, but he was apo:ed. I simply hoped that "so few players" and "no rerolls" would mean it would be too tricky. Sure, it was roughly a 1/6 chance, but he nailed it.

I'll keep that in mind, though. I did start with it with one player, but it might have been worth doing it with more.

Of course, the kickoff was a riot as well, so he could have done other methods as well, had I set up otherwise, but your setup should work better otherwise.
