| Yea, benefit with replacing them one by one is that you have one to keep doing tricky jobs (blodgers, cage-bustings) while the other one focuses on scoring.

| Also think of the pleasure of killing a wardancer you might be denying to other coaches ! BTW what league do you play ? We should arrange a game...

| Sack them both now, buy a new one, and use the tie until you get the 2nd to pass the SPP around. |

| I play in (and run) a small private league called Bridgeburners Blood Bowl league. We're on Season 8 and the league has been running for 2 years. I also have a few fun teams in FOL, but don't play them much. Thanks for all the (very fast!) input! I think what I will do is keep the for a few matches more. I *can* afford a replacement, but it will drain my coffers to 20K gold. I'd rather chance it a bit more for now and save a bit more money up, so I have for a rainy day ![]() I can keep the Wardancers out of harms way a lot by forcing focus to the catchers (risky, I know), since I have a nice little Thrower with +AG, Safe Throw. You know, one of those annoying types that throw TDs from LOS, regardless of who is in the way. That seems to work ok for now. Generally, I play high risk, high reward and usually get away with it, so I guess the Wardancers can take a few more beatings before retiring I'm not that good, but when I win it's spectacular, hehe. I've included an example replay of my (somewhat arrogant) playing style. It's not tactically brilliant or pretty, but it's a good laugh and there are som surprises along the way ![]() Before you scream bloody murder at our skill level (especially the risks I'm taking in the last 3 turns), I'll say that we had both been working 12 hours that day and were pretty wasted As you can see, I am pretty suicidal with the Wardancer (hence, why they both get injured in the first place).Once again, thanks for the input. There's so much to learn about this game Last edited by Steele; 5th November 2011 at 10:31 PM. |

Although AV is crucial, always ![]() The key for you is, as Mico says, do you feel they spend too much time KO or out? If the answer is yes then maybe it is time for you to develop a new one. I tipically keep in the team my -AVs and Nigglings until they retire themselves. WE pieces and WD in particular are expensive enough, WE coaches can not quite often simply afford the luxury to just fire any injury willy nilly, much less so in WD´s. But then again I dont use a -AV or Niggling piece "suicidally" but rather as safety. The influence a -AV or Niggling may have in a worst result than usual for armor or injury rolls is quite limited in practice when you look at the odds, specially if you dont overexpose those pieces. If I need to blitz with them I hit and then run back under cover etc and do not expose them to 2D hits if I can avoid it. When forming your double stall line defense try if possible to have your Dodge pieces (including -AV WD´s) in the second row, so they can not be hit in the first place and then you can use Dodge skills to reposition etc. Actually, this behaviour is really good training for how one should most of the time manage a WD anyways, -AV/Niggle or not!
