| Sounds very eventful and some harsh luck, especially against the Orcs.

| It was a fun event indeed. Being the first time in around 15 or more years I played table top I think I did not do too too bad! When I did originally we used to play just with new teams, plastic minis teh basic ones coming with the box... no development and no fancy skills. So trying now to remember all the skill the pieces in the board have is really a challenge, specially when you are too used to Cyanide´s version! I played only 4 games, as for the last one real life called and had to forfeit... but at the time I left I was 3rd ... 1 point above Netsmurf! with 2-1-1 (WDL).The Copenhagen NAF club is a merry bunch and the organization by Lars and co. was impeccable, beer flowing freely, bbq running all day long with hot dogs for lunch and a proper steak for dinner! Have to admit that a full day (almost 12 hours of bloodbowling) made my little brain almost to implode and I guess I am also too lazy to take care of minis, maintaining them etc but it was good fun! Here a few pics of the event so you can share the joy... Netsmurf is the one with the beard, I am the one without hair! ![]() ![]() Netsmurf (Brio) did not lie when he said he won the beer contest... and this pic was just taken around early afternoon! ![]() Netsmurf hard at work: ![]() Ok, he really was: ![]() Cant really remember if the main goal was the game at all: ![]() Here you can also see Lars, the NAF man in CPH. Soul of the party! ![]() Ok, ok, and a few of the games: My Tree about to be properly gangfouled... I won that match 4-0 with my woodies, so my Orc opponent wanted some little retribution ![]() ![]() My team, minis, courtesy of Netsmurf!: ![]() My brand new dice, gift for joining NAF... I think I left them at LArs´s place! ![]() Netsmurf also at work... ![]() More of my team... As you can se that was a perfect double line stalling defense in action! ahem. ![]() A cool Troll! ![]() All in all a good time was had by all! Last edited by Viajero; 14th August 2011 at 07:32 PM. |

| Looks like a cool tournament. I will have to try harder to come next year, it is not far on the x2000. Had someone staying with me this weekend so no real way to go. Would have to borrow a team probably, but I could buy one and get painting between now and then I guess . |

| I ended on 21 so just of by 1 from last years 22 In the end we desided to give Viajero the third spot even though he had to forfeit the last match. We are to kind I know but it was good fun and nice to play with someone from here |

Great result smurf. Whats your NAF name so I can look you up? I know what you mean, I have felt shattered after a tourney weekend. 6 games in 2 days takes it out of you.

| I never noticed this thread until it was mentioned in the CCC. Looks like great fun and makes me pine for yesteryear when I used to play in tournie’s in Australia. Actually, when I went back there for a holiday earlier this year, I dug up my old Dark Elf team and brought them back with me to Tokyo. I had forgotten how much I totally sucked (and most probably still do) at painting! Will take a pic of my team and post it on here so you can all have a laugh. Unfortunately there are no BB players in Tokyo (at least that I know of), but its probably for the best given the crap state of my team. Would love to make it over to Europe sometime for a tournie though. Looks like so much fun!
