Wow.. talk about loads of info in a short time.

And hi and welcome to the site!

It is a really good place to ask questions. And most of the answers are really thought through and helpful... but sometimes I answer.. and then it might be delusional Bullshit... oh well.. :-)

/SorroW, who only have one thing to add.

General Skill: Block. I mean it is sooo good esspecially when combined with Dodge. And since it is so common that makes Wrestle good.

Also Dodge being good, makes Tackle being important.

So most skills are really good, but it is the combination of different skills and the use the player have ofthem that makes them Excellent.

Aye I absorb info pretty quick lol xD

Now another quick question I want to know is, how do some Abilities interact?

I have this habbit of making customized teams (upto a TV value of 2k-2.5k) on the PC game, then watching the AI battle it out with the teams, often watching what tactics/stratergies the AI pulls off and how it uses 'em etc.. But iv always found some abilities never being used with others.. So afew questions;

Claw + Might Blow: Now it says add 1 to any Armor OR Injury roll, does this mean you have to pick 1 over the other? But on the Armor side, does the ability work with Claw? (meaning any roll of a 7+ gets through armor). Also how do these 2 abilities interact with Piling On?

Diving Tackle + Prehencile Tail: Do these two abilities stack? Causing a total of -3? Can Diving Tackle also be combined with say, Tentacles making them use Str instead of Agi?

Pro + Bone-Head/Really Stupid/Wild Animal: Since most of these champions come with Loner, does Pro allow them to reroll their "Stupid" rolls? Since having watched the AI with it, it always seems to be abit weird.. Never tested it myself.

I think a very drunk human with low IQ can play better than AI... your better off watching human game replays if you want to pick up some nice moves. Better... don't play against AI... you get some silly habits.

Mighty Blow... more commonly referred to as "MB" will give you +1 in Armor if that is necessary to break armor. If you break armor without using MB... then he gives that +1 instead to injury roll. So nice... claw reduces armor.... but doesn't have a chance at making a injury more likely once armor is broken.

Claw + MB stack... that is why MB werewolves in Necromantic teams are so feared. To them everyone is a "halfling" with Armor 6.. or like I said they are less discriminating players... they think everyone has paper armor...

Diving Tackle (DT) does stack with Prehensile. Quite sure. -3 for an Agi 5 elf is still 3+ without TZ. Tentacles is always STR. Dodge is alway DEX.

Champions ? You mean Dumb Big Guys ?

Pro can reroll "stupid/block head/wild animal"... but for Pro you need access to GENERAL Skills list. Dumb guys usually have only STRENGTH skill list. Getting Block is usually more important on a doubles roll. Also a General skill.
(Pro has 50% of failing)

When you chose a team... its important to see what skills they have access too. Some big guys without "Really Stupid" disadvantages like the Khemri STR 5 guys don't have normal roll access to Block skill. So what looks like a fairly scary guy can be taken down quite reliably with -2 die blocks.

No what I meant was, If I have Tentacles and DT, Does that mean they have to take a Str test at -2 from DT?

Ha! Sorry iv play alot of League of Legends so I end up calling everything a "Champion", I meant player :P


Also tend to agree on the AI thing yes :P It's probably why I'm so bad now haha! Should really start playing ONLY online games... buuut, gotta start somewhere! Still trying to decide on what style of play I like/what team to focus on..... For today anyway.

MB + Claw combo is the oldest and most common in high level TV teams... kind of boring if the whole team is built to be killers. Still its good to have one guy like this.

Tentacles is a separate roll from Dodge. So the guy will do a tentacles roll... if he manages he then does a dodge roll -3.

Start playing first... get 20 games under your belt then worry about style. In the beginning you don't really know your style. You will get that later. I recommend playing agile and bashy teams to get the hang of it... and to better understand how your opponents think.

Duh x_x Sorry I read Tentacles as you can force them to use their Str instead of Agi when trying to dodge away... I see it's been reworded to be more clear xD
Use to be "To successfully dodge away from a player with tentacles, the opposing player must pass a Strength test." So I thought that's what it meant xD
