Hello to one and all!

This is really a magnificent site you guys've got here, congratulations. I thought that if I had to lose my registration virginity to a forum site, it might as well be for a good reason, your site seemed to be an obvious choice. I just joined my first ever tabletop league (7 people/teams): Helsinki-Kotka Interregional Blood Bowl Turboleague (conveniently abr. HKIRBBTL) and I have to say I've enjoyed looking through all the tips and comments throughout your site. Thank you very much.

I've been playing BB on and off with a couple of buddies for about 15 years. I've bought all three versions of BB for PC but much more prefer to play the tabletop game.

I hope it's not frowned upon, but just in the off chance that someone is interested, I took the liberty to leave a link here to my friends blog where you can find the play-by-play and fluff for all our matches. Just scroll down to the beginning. I play with the orc team Braga's Brutes.

Just was wondering where the "Braga" in Braga's Bashers came from ? I live in Braga, Portugal... that is why I am asking... its not a word in Finnish for sure.

Hah! No, it doesn't mean anything in finnish. The name 'Braga' just popped into my head when I was trying to come up with names for the players. Sounded like a solid orc title. I've never been to Portugal, but I'll definitely visit your beautiful city of Braga when I do.

I noticed your flag and just couldn't help myself. That's about all I know in swedish (en ole suomen-ruotsalainen). But I'm fluent in finnish, though. Ehkä kuitenkin parempi puhua englanniks täällä jotta muutkin ymmärtää.

I've only met once with the coach of Ragnarock Ravens, so I don't know if he has any swedish roots, I doubt it. I think he did a great job in capturing the essence of the Norse / viking names and lore. And the paint-job is also really good.

I'll pass along the compliments on the blog to the coach of Tor Achare Titans(TIT).

Tommorrow we have a big game day, 3 boards 6 players. I'm hoping to play two matches, as one game lasts about 4h. We'll see if I can keep the lead position in the rankings.

Good luck from me and I hope that you get a bigger group of players in the future - this monday we had 7 games going at the same time, we have room for 12 but so far our record are 11 games in progress at the same time - it is great fun

If you use a timer and 4 minute turns you should be able to get it down to 3 hours per game.
