Hello there,

Just recently got bought the Legendary Edition and loving every second of playing online and all the hepful tips, tactics and blogs.

I used to play both versions of the model game and just glad that people are pointing out my obvious mistakes.

Currently playing a mix of teams, but predominantly Dark Elfs, Orcs and Orgres / Snotlings.

Always looking for advice, maybe soon will start gibing it as well. Lt me know of any decent leagues that I could join as well.

Welcome to both of you.

FTJUK - There's a couple of online leagues I've played in and would recommend. The Orca Cola and the UKBBL. You can find either of them online. Also I know you're already onto our competition which I would recommend to anyone. A great mix of abilities and personalities.

The Orca Cola you would need a reference from someone who knows you aren't a disconnector or something, and if you're having trouble on that score it's even more worthwhile joining CCV as there's several coaches who also play in the OCC.

The UKBBL I think is easier to get into. Both really well run.

On top of that for casual games you are better off now joining Private mm leagues. Getting into the UKBBL or OCC will give you access to Middenheim, and other great ones include FOL (more info on the cyanide forums) and Wild Rose which I think you can basically just apply for. These are pretty big so you shouldn't have problems finding reliable opponents.

Barn forgot to mention the CTA open league, which is the one we run here on bbtactics. I recommend submitting a few teams, but as there isnt a lot of activity, it is often hit and miss as to whether you can get a gameo r not.

That's why I didn't mention it. I was aiming for leagues you could jump straight onto. CTA has a great group of players but more often than not there's noone on when I look for a game. The others are huge, although I would always look for a CTA game first.
