Default Help choosing High Elf Skills
As Coach told me it is better to ask my question here:

I want to play again my High elves in tournament even if it is one one of the hardest to play in this kind of event.

Ok in france Naf tournament are very often in a format not very good for High Elves.

It is often a TV110 tournament with 4 simple skillz and one skill from a double dice roll.

My Naf score with HIgh Elves is ridiculous about 126!!!! That is why i want to play again my High elves. I want to rise my NAF Score !

I think in tournament it is better to increase the forces of high elves it means to increase their passing game and their agressiv defensiv style.

So Let's see:

90 K 1 thrower with accurate
200k 2 blitzer 1 with frenzy the other with Dodge
180 k 2 receivers 1 with Guard the other with dodge
490k 7 Liners
3 RR
2 FF
1PomPom Girl
1 assistant

Tell me what do you think about this roster.

Is there any way to improve it making it more agressiv.... ?

I think there not a lot of physical mpact. A mighty Blow misses even if frenzy offer more tactical choices. A kick also misses, it fits very well with the 8 mvt of receiver.

So let's go your coments!!! Thank!

I like this roster. Frenzy gives you a player to patrol the sidelines or chase the ball. Guard on a mobile player makes sense, too. He's fragile, though, so you'll have to take care with him.

I guess if you wanted to be more conservative you could swap Wrestle on the Guard Catcher and Guard on the Frenzy Tackler. I wouldn't, however, as you're not going to win this sort of tournament with High Elves without taking a few risks.

Good luck!

it is true it isn't a great format for high elves, it really favours the teams that start with more of the core skills, block, dodge, tackle, sure hands

you are the right lines taking dodge, both for protection, ability to move and saves rerolls

you've nothing to deal with other teams blodge players though, you really need at least one wrestle / tackle / strip ball or you are going struggle to get the ball off them

I would also probably not bother with accurate, take leader instead, drop a reroll and either take an apothecary / extra lineman / upgrade to get another catcher

frenzy is nice to have but I don't think high elves can afford to take it, I would give a lot of consideration to another catcher and perhaps giving him wrestle at expense of a frenzy

or give him dodge and swap the dodge blitzer for a tackle blitzer

good luck getting that NAF ranking back up, hopefully you can scalp some high ranked opponents and take a load of points off them

I tested ysterday an another roster that i posted.

It was:

4 receivers 360 guard and dodge
2 Blitzers 200 Frenzy and dodge
1 thrower 90 With Kick
4 Liners 280

2 RR

I played against an Undead roster. My opponent won the game 1 - 0 on the 16th turn on my attack.

He had a lot of luck. I was on my way to win the game. I defend very well though i did not put a TD.

But the lack of RR costed me the win.

So I think the roster need a few changes to be more competitiv for a TV 110 tournament 4 skillz 1 doubke skill.

Having 4 receivers is really helpfull but very expensiv. So i propose a 3 receivers roster.

3 receivers 270 Dodge, Wrestle
2 blitzers 200 Frenzy, Dodge
1 thrower 90 Kick
5 liners 350

3 RR 150
2 Pop
1 pompom
1 coach

Total: 1100000

Ok It is a very different roster.

1 thrower to keep the Pass gameplay. With Kick to have an agressiv game on defense.

In attack the ball keeper will be the blodge blitzer. The thrower stay close to him in the case of a pass to one of the three receivers.

In defense I keep two safety. The Frenzy and the wrstle receiver. Why Frenzy? Because it offers a large tactical opportunities. It forbid the side of the pitch permit to break a double curtain defense, a cage and so on...

I 'll try this roster on my next training game.

What do yo think of it?

I would 100% drop Kick for Leader and then swap a reroll for an Apothecary

Kick is nice to have but saving a player when you only have 11 is far better.
