Default Hi
I'm a relative rookie, I've just found this site & it's been a great help so far.
My only experience is playing Chaos thus far & I'm trying to pick up tips on how to play Chaos Dwarfs which are the first team I've bought myself (I thought it would be nice to start with some skills)

I don't have the pc game yet & I can't usually get to tournaments so I'll likely be lurking more than posting.

Welcome to Blood Bowl..
Ive been seeking advice for Chaos Dwarves myself the last few days and the best advice was from Coach.. Guard first on all CDs.
Have you got minis yet?

Hi Blind pugh,

Welcome to the site and I'm glad you found it useful. There are some one day tournaments popping up now and I think most two day tournaments wouldn't have an issue with you just playing one day if a whole weekend is too much.

Yeah I just found your thread after I'd posted in general looking for advice. There was some good stuff in there, all the advice I'd found elsewhere online had been for at least 2 rulebooks ago so this place is a godsend.

I've got the boxed team 7 one Bull centaur, I'll be getting two more Chaos Dwarfs & the other Bull centaur sometime this week. I'm still debating a minotaur.

It's generally more that I don't have the money to spare for travel especially with the cost of ferries. I might have to see if I can talk the people I play with into sharing a car, that might make it doable.

Where are you living that involves ferries?

I think there is a league on the IOW, there are certainly some other players there. There is a tournament in Poole on the 10th / 11th September, it might have sold out now, I'm not certain. The IOW coaches usually travel up to Nottingham for the Blood Bowl / NAF Championship each year as well.

So if you fancy it at some point you may want to sign up to the NAF and see if you can get hold of them. You also get some lovely coloured block dice too!

Thanks Coach I'll think about that. I definitely want to get some more experience before I go & face tournament players though.
