I have my Minotaur, both centaurs, and all of my blockers. I went into my last match with only 2 hobos. This proved to be a problem a ko and an injury later, when I was left with only ag2 to handle the ball. I just picked up another hobo bringing my total to 3 hobos, an my total roster to 12. I was thinking about getting one more and keeping my roster at 4 hobos, and a total roster of 13. Does that sound about right?

12 or 13 do both sound good. If you later feel you have too many hobos and don't get to play with all regularly you just get dirty player on one

A depth of about five feet should be enough to bury the little buggers.

My favourite topic..

For Chaos Dwarves u want as few on the roster as possible. (once u have all positionals that is). U want to maximise the chances of a dwarf getting an MVP as they skill up rediculously slowly. And u can induce some great star players. So TV down is almost preferable.

Personally i think that 1 res is enough for these guys. Particularly if u r using hobos to handle the ball. They will enjoy the safety of a cage. And as we know a dwarf cage is fairly solid. On defence use them to mark prone players and be the odd assist and they should be fine.

If they do get targeted, it should mean ur opponent's attention and players are being drawn away from the action. As hobos really shouldnt be in the thick of things.

If u hav more than 1 reserve u should be fouling heavily..

I prefer a 13 player roster and then doing as Morgred says: Foul until spotted by the highly unfair and biased ref

I've never played Chaos Dwarves, but my time spent with Skaven leads me to say you need 4 Hobgoblins.

You could probably get away with only 3, but pretty soon one will get MNG'd and leave you with 2 next match, forcing you to buy a 4th to have any bench, whom you'll be reluctant to cut afterwards.
