| I recon if you believe you lost because of luck you wont learn anything. Try to think back and see if you could have done something different reducing risks or positioning better etc. Best way to learn. Keep at it

Do everything that you can do without dice first. That means, move people to guard agains a failed pickup. Protect ballcarrier if the blitz fails. Letting fallen players rise. And loads of stuff like this.. It is really easy, esspecially in the beginning, to get to focused on scoring that goal, or kicking that bleeding Wardancer into the loving embrace of the crowd. That you miss the simple stuff. Doing the secure things first really really helps minimize the bad stuff that comes with bad dice. But sure, sometimes the dice are wicked. /SorroW, who can't play the TT without his own dice.... |

| Yeah that's a good advice, and mostly I keep myself away from rolling, that's what I was doing yesterday too, but I didn't pay enough attention and didn't mark the blitzer hiding in the bushes. So basically in the last round of the half my poor hobgoblin got smashed right before crossing the TD line. ![]() I guess the attention is the thing I should focus on, sometimes I just forget to do things I wanted to. ![]() How was your friend's game? |

| He got the basics down, and he thought it was really fun. So another recruit to the BB lifestyle... Now I need to slowly let him in on the secrets of fouling and tactical stalling... The game ended 4-2 I think... lots of different stuff happening.. so that was good. |
