The wrestle on the catcher is a safeguard. I Figure that my frenzy blitzer will be a target and then I need another ballstealer, he is also able to protect my other catcher and it gives my defence two edges as he can cover one side with two guardsmen and the frenzy can cover the other half with one guardsman.

Big Bubba will take attention in the center. I will try and set him up for 3D blocks and hope his Mighty-blow will remove the odd player now and then.

GF13 is over and good riddance. Ended as number 10 after 7 matches

Match 1 was against the other human team in GF13. Ended 1-1 and was a fine start, but then trouble came.

Match 2 was against a woodelf team. Ended 1-3, all kickoff rolls in favor of the elfs and I missed 8 out of 9 KOŽrolls. He got blitz and his first turn saw two of my players KOŽed He finished the game without makeing any turnovers. He had 3 rerolls left. NO CHANCE AT ALL

Match 3 against chaos. Ended 0-1 Another disaster, totally missed anything in this game. 7 times did I miss a reroll, 6 missed 3+ rerolls and a double 1 pickup. Opponent downed my players on all blocks but 4 during the match. He cleanhit my dodge/wrestle catcher and never had problems blocking my blitzers. It was a shitty game again NO CHANCE AT ALL

Match 4 against Gobbos. Walkover ended 5-1 to me, normal dicerolling and end of day one with a misserable 13th. place. With no hope of victory then we desided to hit the bars an have a good time. We found out that if there ever was a Romani team (gypsies) they should have strip ball and sneaky git 6,2,3,7. And perhaps a positional with stab.

DAY 2:

Match 5 against dwarfs. Another 0-1 loss Again a rodden match. With 4 players left and 3 turns left I finaly get 2 turns without turnovers and the ball is free and my catcher has the chance. JUST PICK UP THAT STUPID BALL, but even with my last cleverly saved reroll it was a double 1 and match lost.

Match 6 against lizards. 1-1 draw and again all there is needed is a blitz to go in and win but you guessed it - DOUBLE SKULLS - ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH.

Match 7 against haflings. Another walkover 3-0 and normal dice. Sure was a crappy weekends BB. Ended on 10th. spot out of 16

What worked with the team?

3 x Guards was amasing, really helped me many times to have that as almost all other things was a disaster.

1 x Frenzy was also amasing. Helped me to get into gages and mess things up a bit and actualy put up a little fight.

1 x wrestle was ok put I didnŽt use it much - used the catcher with succes tree times and it was a good option to have. He was also good at protecting my ball carrier and being a roadblock. If I was to play humans again with this system I would swap this skill for something else - perhaps block on the thrower.

1 x Apoth was brilliant. In the shitty games I used him to keep a guardsplayer in the reserves and that was a great thing. In the two games I won I used him in second half to keep a KO on the pitch wich was also brilliant.

2 FF, most exelent 4 times it helped me, 2 times getting fame1 and 2 times getting fame0 for both of us.

1 coach and 1 cheerleader. Only lost 1 reroll on kickoff so this was also perfect. In this tourney all coaches recieved an ekstra coach and cheerleader if team was painted - so I had 2 of each while the rest only had 1.

Should I play humans again I would cut the two catchers and one FF to get an extra lineman. That would be better for my playstyle.
