Nikolai II's Flag is: Sweden
Default Introductory post #4
Maybe I should make one of these newfangled introductory posts then. It seems to be all the rage these days.

I am from Stockholm, I play some (very little) Blood Bowl, but I think it is fun and would like to play (a little) more.

There we go. Anything I forgot to say, just ask

Hi Nikolai, seems to be a lot of Swedes who play but always say there isn't any real life Blood Bowl in Sweden!

Well, I'd be looking for some online BB, because I can only reliably play it in a tabletop league.

Well I found this site a while ago.

StockBowl

Never been though. I am sure I would do illigal procedure every turn if I tried playing with minis.

That's where I am playing. And after the first game I ended up putting my hand on my turn marker during my opponents turn (rolling any dice I needed to roll during his turn with my left hand) just to remember to move the marker forward.

Managing the timer is also a good reminder, since then you can just move your turn marker as you return your hand from the clock. (Phone, in most cases, since the programmer of BBRef is in the league.)

Quite a lot of table top leagues and tournaments don't play using the Illegal Procedure rule.

So if there is a choice you could look for one that doesn't. Or just start your own.

Our commissioners say that we use it, though, so that's it for us.
