Default Matchmaking league team development
Got my first (yay!) Nurgle team transferred from Naggarond Open to Wild Rose a couple of days ago, which means they will get into FOL come november(?). This team really has had some tough losses and have teached me some hard lessons in what Nurgle teams really shouldn't try and have only lately become anything close to a competitve team.

I'm mainly focusing my NWs to be defensively tough to deal with, and I'm planning to build killers/ball hunters from beastmen. The current roster is as follows:

Beast: No skills, just fired the old one with Stand Firm, Break Tackle. Building next one as a passive beast instead (Guard, SF, hoping for doubles). Too much frustration with the first one's 1s and getting hurt and KO'd all the time.
NW1: Dodge, Niggling - A bit on the fence with this guy, keep or sack?
NW2+3: Blodge
NW4: Blodge, +1ST - Great potential, but what next?
Pest1+2: Block - Potential killers
Pest3: Block, Tackle - Getting Frenzy next
Pest4: +1AG, Big Hand - Ball retriever.
Rotters: 1 with Kick and 1 with DP, -1 AG. Rest fresh due to one horrible game against Orcs

So... What next? The ST5 NW is 1 SPP from next level and is a real conondrum. I'm really tempted by tentacles, just to completely tie down 1 side of the field or channel scared squishies down a funnel of doom, but that means he will need Stand Firm after that, and it that might take a while without MB/Claw/PO. Lots of options, tho. Guard obviously, although I'll be getting that on at least the Beast + 1 of the blodge NWs, so it might not be first priority.

The other player that has lots of potential is the +AG Pest. On doubles, the choice is between Dodge, Leap, Pass or Accurate. I can see arguments for all of these, but Leap seems most tempting as it would allow for some really cool maneuvers with Very Long Legs afterwards. A normal skill would be Block or Strong Arm (arg, choices!), I think.

So what I need here is basically some input for the direction of the team and especially for the 2 "special" guys and the Beast from this point on. I think I can make this guys a real mouthful as I already has seen a lot of potential for lockdowns, smackdowns and generally frustrating the heck out of my opponents

- Pus With Boots; CCVI: 4-2-2, reached playoffs. CCVII 5-2-2, quarter finals.
- Altdwarf Plumber's Union; CCVIII: 2-1-3, barely reached playoffs, narrowly lost on overtime due to snake-eyes. Ngh!
