Your idea from the start was to keep the TV as low as possible in order to get a lot of inducements wasn't it? I imagine you are probably still getting some nice inducements, but do you feel that the team is competitive like that, or would you like to develop the team more in order to achieve TV parity with your opponents?

Amazon teams are hard to develop in general, but at least the blitzers are useful out of the box and can get Guard quite quickly. If you can keep your Guard linos alive then you should be able to get 5 or 6 Guards on the team reasonably soon, which helps a lot.

I personally prefer to develop Amazon teams rather than trying to keep the TV low and I find that stat increases help a lot too on a few players (+Ma , +Str & +Ag). Seeing as you have discovered the joys of BB digital rosters I'll post one of my Amazon team that played three seasons over at the Ogham League and did quite well, winning the Super Bowl over there in their last season. Surprisingly for an Amazon team, the two throwers are the best players on the team! Currently the team is sitting in a holding league:

The low TV idea has been all but abandoned by now. I realized that Blitzers, and their easy Blodge/Guard access, are too useful to only have one (the team started with one), so I replaced dead Linegirls with three more.

The last argument for this was nerfing the Wizard with the last patch. He was a bit overpowered before, but now he's barely usable, as You can only deploy him at the start of Your turn (using him at the start of opponent's turn causes bugs; I almost got and admined defeat for doing that yesterday as it was considered an exploit).

While it lasted, it worked pretty well. Wizard saved my team at least two-three times. By saving I mean turning a tie into a victory or a loss into a tie, so a pretty big difference.

However, I did take Leader instead of Sure Hands on the Thrower (and got rid of one re-roll), so there are some remains of the starting philosophy left. We will see how the situation develops, though. I still don't plan of hiring another Thrower, and am instead planning to develop a Linegirl (Sale) into a Ball Carrier. She needs one more SPP to get Sure Hands.

The girls will probably keep dying, which my TV should trim by itself. If that does not happen, my backup plan is to make the most annoying team ever, with a combination of Wrodge, Blodge, Tackle, Diving Tackle, Guard, Fend, Side Step, Jump Up and Stand Firm.

Your Throwers are really nice, but I don't have much hopes of getting players like that. In 17 level-ups so far, I have not rolled any +stat rolls at all. I guess Nuffle wants to help me keep the TV low. Although I believe average stat line is all that is needed with the right skills, and am willing to test that theory on the pitch.

She Loves Unwashed Trolls is a recent replacement for my starlet Catcher Seriously Lacking Useful Talents, who died after head-butting an orc in a heavy scrum. Her friends Lifetime Opportunity (Wrestler) and Discount (Kciker) gave their lives in the same match.

We have some suspicions that those three were all guys in drag, though, as their deaths happened against an orc team called The Nutkrackerz. Somewhat fishy.

That certainly sounds off - and makes some twisted sense

And apart from getting one ST and one AG - on the same blitzer at that, the Dancing Girls manage well enough without stats. Sometimes, at least

Cheap Girls lost their 4th match of the season, but managed to kill two opposing players: a rookie Lineman and a LV3 Guard/Tackle Blitzer (very annoying guy, he deserved to die).

Killer Price also killed an Ogre with ST6/Guard/Break Tackle, but apo saved him/it . Also, we got a lousy 10K winnings from the match.

Despite the loss, we got three level-ups, two of which were doubles. That means the team has now 4 Guard Linegirls.

The loss puts the team on 1-2-1 record, so it's high time girls started winning something, or they may not see the glamour of Div #4 next season...

Really nice team you have at the moment. But im surprised that the Blitzers (apart from 1) are so underdeveloped. Still, you have such a solid base with all those guard Linegirls. My suggestion is to try and skill up the other Blitzers asap to give them guard too. All apart from the jump up blitzer, who should get MB/PO for her next skills.

Zon teams are rare in OCC, so i wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
