Default Nasty, nasty witch elf
My darkelves are coming along nicely, apart fom losing the odd key player here and there.

I knew what I was doing with my witchelf, she got wrestle then sidestep amd my next skill was going to be sure feet to make her even more mobile and make blitzing safer.

All of that went out of the window when I rolled +1 agility.

She is now Agi 5, wrestle and sidestep. She is great at breaking the ball free and is often my deep reciever (I try to blitz, surf then run up field).

Her next skill will be up soon (she scored 2 TDs last game) so short of her dying, what do I get next?

Im thinking piling on if its a double, I normally get guard on elves but this ones different. Otherwise I have some thinking to do.

It depends on your league environment.

However pilling on in many environments is an invitation to get fouled hard. So it works better on pieces that are staying close to the rest of the team and/or are heavily armored.

The synergy with jump up still makes it tempting though doesn't it?

Too too true, its why I opted for wrestle over block. Not as good as block on my turn unless im hitting the ball carrier. Love it in defence though. When Im hit "both down" on their turn, if the guy has block then I take it and drag him down then jump up next turn with no tackle zones around.

If its not the end of his turn and he doesn't have block I will take the hit and the turnover instead.

Im on the Cyanide game and as my TV is creeping up (Im sitting on 100,000 cash waiting for a lineman to die before buying my last blitzer) I play more Orcs, Dwarfs and Choas.

Strip Ball on a normal skill, with AG5 and Frenzy you can get at ball carriers and should be able to get the ball loose. The other option is Leap so you can get at crowd push opportunities that you wouldn't otherwise and its 2+ with AG5

Doubles I'd look at Juggernaut for easier crowd pushes personally, even with Jump Up I'd rather have Mighty Blow over Piling On.

I tend to miss strip ball now as bashy teams don't tend to throw so the ball carriers normally have sure hands. I'll probably try leap, I already have a lineman with +1agility, wrestle and leap. Hes a real monster.

When he's out injured I can really tell. A second might take the strain off.

Any time a player has AG5 and access to agility skills, you have to consider leap, unrestricted movement on a 2+ roll? Sign me up.

As for Piling On, I have it on an orc blitzer, and I gotta say, I'm not all that impressed with it. But, that could have more to do with the fact that is hasn't really been successful.
