Newbie Alert!

Hey folks,

As the Title states I am something of a newbie when it comes to Blood Bowl. I have it on the PC as I have no one local to play with on the Table Top. I am in a League with some friends that also have the game and am enjoying it immensely so far. I found BBTactics while doing some research on my Opponents and am enjoying browsing the Site so far.

Playing Lizardmen as my Primary Team so far, 2-1-1 for a Record in our first Official Season. I think I have perhaps..15 games under my belt so far which means I am pretty sure I haven't even faced half the teams in the game but I am getting there!

If anyone would care to recommend resources for either Lizardmen or BloodBowl in general I am open to advice!

Hey Hexeter, welcome to the forum.

Where in Canada are you, there are a few leagues around and there are tournaments throughout the year too.

Only other place I really check is the NAF website which lists all the tabletop tournaments and has the world rankings.

It's ridiculous how BB Fever has taken over the Forum I frequent that even got me in to the game. Once I am more comfortable with the League Play I will be looking to get in to something with more Depth to it. Right now we are running an 8 Game Season just to see how interested we all really are.

As far as Blood Bowl resources, this website is a one stop shop. Put your feet up and stick around a while.

Yeah I definitely finding this place to be the place I always end up back at. There are other sites out there but I've yet to find any as informative.

I do believe there is a league in Alberta, though how far away from you it is I'm not sure.

Usually everything is far away from me. I am about 3 hours away from Civilization. But that is not stopping me from having a rabid interest in BloodBowl.
