| Kick on a blitzer!? I mean, kick is good overall for a fast team such as humans. But not that critical, IŽd say, to "waste" it on a Blitzer methinks. Id go for Stripball. It is the perfect skill in a ag4, dodge tackle blitzer. You can get that blitzer almost anywhere you want to blitz. Eventhough your oppoents may have a Sure Hands, the ball is bound to be bouncing around and being caught by someone else at some point. Plus the threat is enough to help limit some of your opponent hand off / pass options that could leave a potential non Sure Hands carrier exposed to even a 1D from your blitzer. Next skill for him after that? Leap. Behold the human WD. Last edited by Viajero; 24th January 2012 at 11:35 AM. |

| Leap is a double for a Human Blitzer, so it's hard to plan on getting it after the next level up.

| heh i thought kick might raise a few eyebrows. the thing is with how i set up there is only 1 lino not in the widezones or los. i like that guy to be my dp. it is a tough choice as this is realistically his last skill. strip ball, frenzy and good ol mb are all solid choices. u r probably right viajero in it is "wasted" on a blitzer. however i do take kick on my dark elf blitzers once the original kicker has died. |

| Ideally, You should get a lineman with DP and Kick and then always kick first (if possible), so You get the most out of him before he is sent off while treading on opponents' fingers.

| md4 basterdz 3-0 victory over dirty nurgle! basterdz win 2 in a row for the 1st time in 20 games. game started with the basterdz kicking short and blitzing. i get no-one under the ball as they would have been facing a mb/claw block, but apply the pressure and manage to ko his ball handler t1. a rotter catch's the bouncing ball and gets into a cage at halfway, but t3 it is formed against one of my blitzers, so a 1d block opens up a chance for my strip balling blitzer to get a 1d on the ball - ![]() .my opponent blocks back, and rerolls ![]() into ![]() before he picks up the ball! i recover with clyde my blodgin ag4 blitzer to run away with the ball. i miscount where his beast is so after 2 gfi's i am in a st5 tentacle grip. i 1d blitz the beast after rerolling FA and manage to stall to t8, while also ko'ing 3 of 4 warriors (2 to boots to head)2nd half clyde recovers the ball and stands midfield while i push right. my opponent overcommits so i go back left and get into scoring range behind a loose screen. i outpace the nurgle and stall 1 turn to make it 2-0. next drive a failed pick up by the nurgle, followed by a wiz lightning bolt to remove a tz off the ball, sees clyde pick it up and scoot off for his 3rd td. lessons learnt- never reroll a block unless the ball is utterly secure! |

| Congrats on the win and here's hoping your luck has now changed and you can continue the winning streak.

| Good to see Humies doing so well. I'm thinking about dropping my UKBBL Necro team in favour of Humies next season. I'm finding the zombies to be severely limiting.

but it is the reason why i love humies, their linesmen are same stats as some other teams specialised ball handlers. blitzers can hit as hard as any player without access to claw. guard spam is relatively easy. they can do it all, just none particularly well it is nice to know though when the ball is loose, that any player can handle the ball. only 6 ag3 players on necro teams is as u said, limiting. (higher divisions though regen is a godsend) cheers for the kind word guys, at 3-0-1 the basterdz are nicely placed for promotion back into div 3. next week is discokings undead team, which has a ag4 superstar ghoul, and 3-4 dirty player skellies. things could get brutal. |
