Hey there, Blood Bowl brethren

I've been stalking this site for a while now, and finally decided to register.

Having been out of the Blood Bowl loop since 2nd edition, I was surprised to find that the game's still alive and kicking (no pun intended).

Anywho, I just spent an ungodly amount of money on the ingredients for an Ogre/Gnobling (Snotling) team, studyed the latest rules, played a couple of games, and it's gone quite well so far

Tips, tactics, and other such pearls of wisdom would be muchly appreciated.

Enough from me,
J.D.

(Former coach of The Mighty Squigs.)

Welcome on board. What part of Australia are you from? Many moons ago I used to play in a small league in Perth. Now i'm only on Cyanide though (not many bb players here in Tokyo). Do you have the Cyanide version of the game?

Cheers

Ah, I'm from the other side of Aus, in Victoria. Been to Perth though. Very dry :P

Unfortunately, I've got a Flintstones-era PC, so I don't think I'd have a chance in running the Cyanide version

But if anybody's got any info about the Java-based version, I'd be glad to hear about it

Hi Squigs thanks for signing up, always good to see old players returning to the game.

Be sure to post pictures of your team once they are done in the general forum too!

Thanks, Coach

I'd just like to say, it was this site, and your helpful tactics that tipped me over the edge and convinced me to get back into the game

Oh, and I'm in the process of converting a team from some Warhammer Ogres and Gnoblings. I have some ambitious ideas, so pics might be a while :P
