Default Peculiar Team & Skills selection
This thread is to post about weird/peculiar teams or skill selections you run across in BB games. So that others might wonder or laugh about them.

I was inspired after facing a low TV Necro team with "fast" Flesh Golems. One FG had +1 Move and the other FG had sure feet. I asked him why ? He answered he felt inspired that day.

Needless to say many "both down" results became pushes due to his lack of block...

Another interesting team was an all pro-skill Vampire team... but that makes sense.

Strangest team I've seen is a lot of a fluke but scary as hell. It's a Vampire team with two Str5 Vamps, together they turn the team from tier 2 to tier 1 with ease.

A few fun things have been tried I think - goblins with sneaky git across the board, norse with frenzy of every player, for example.

And smaller themes, like the Goblins on the Orc teams, or an all beastman Chaos or all Snotling Ogre team have been done in terms of player choice themes.

One of the most fun I've played against was a high elf team called 3 princes - their 3 positionals were the princes - so 1 thrower, 1 catcher, 1 blitzer and the rest only linemen.

Skillswise, probably not something I see as often in terms of theme.

I faced an Orc team with Stand Firm on almost all skilled players... really strange. They had 2 skilled goblins for scoring too...

A Chaos coach i play against got a +1ST on his minotaur fairly early. It now has Claw aswell and is a scary bastard. He developed the rest of the team around him. Giving all the other players (except 2 beastmen) Guard as their fist skill. He gets bloody (excuse the pun) 3D blocks and blitzes everywhere. Sooo much guard...

Best minotaur in the OCC was until very recently one that had: Block, Dodge, +Str, Claw and Break Tackle! Now that is what I call an abomination!!

"Unfortunately" it died a couple of matches ago after a miss-clicked dodge went wrong!

Holy crap, I'd be praising Nuffle if I was his opponent in that match!

- Pus With Boots; CCVI: 4-2-2, reached playoffs. CCVII 5-2-2, quarter finals.
- Altdwarf Plumber's Union; CCVIII: 2-1-3, barely reached playoffs, narrowly lost on overtime due to snake-eyes. Ngh!

The coach with the mino from hell is actually female and is called nephila! Only female coach in the OCC as far as I'm aware and the only girl that I know of who plays this game!

Edit: actually there was a girl from the US called Katie who played at Ogham for a season or so. Anyone know of any others?
