Won a hard match against some dwarves, he managed to kill a lineelf and one blitzer misses the next game. But my guard blitzer managed to score and got a new skill. My plan was to get dodge, as im done with the tackle heavy teams, but I rolled 4+6, so both MA and AV could be interesting too. Any comments? I can also rebuy a lineelf to replace the dead or wait a game to buy a witch or a runner. No matter what I buy ill only get 11 players..

Both are nice. Move 8 helps you get places and makes Shadowing a useful skill choice later. Armour 9 will keep them alive longer and less stuns so you will get to use Guard on more turns.

My thoughts are if you would like to give hime Shadowing and Side-step (after dodge) then take the movement. Otherwise take the magic helmet and be protected.

I'd take Dodge.
It will make it a lot easier for you to put your Guard where it matters, and (especially if you won't meet much Tackle soon) is excellent knock down protection. Much better than MA or AV.

I have 2 DE Blitzers with Guard and Dodge myself, and they are absolutely amazing players. Sidestep next.

I also favour Dodge but cases can be made for either stat increase.

I'd also get a Journeyman and then get a Witch Elf next game rather than replace a Lineman now.

Yes, definitely save your cash for the Witch Elf. She offers a lot more to the team than just another lineman, and if you spend your cash now on that lineman, you postpone the purchase of the WE another 2 games. A Loner lineman will do fine on the LoS or to tie up the opponent's most dangerous players in the mean time.

Thanks for all the answers. Im around halfway through the league and as it pretty bashy, shadowing is not high on my priority list.

Side step is an obvious choice after dodge, but that is not likely to come if I pick AV.

Ill think going with dodge is the best choice here and now, but AV first really shines, when he also get dodge. Dodge it is.
