Site Instructions - How do I...
First off welcome to the BBTactics Forums and here I will let you know how to use some of the great features of this board.

Thread Prefixes:
Some of the sections, most notably the tactics ones, require you to put a prefix on your thread. This is to make it easier to see which race the threads are about, which will make scanning the page easier to see threads on subjects you are more interested in, as well as making searching easier as well.

If you feel any prefixes need adding then please ask for them in Suggestion area.

Thread Thumbnails
Again like prefixes make threads on certain subjects stand out easier from a visual point of view as well as in my opinion make the forum look nicer and stand out from others as too! The instructions on adding one of the pre-made ones are underneath the box when you create a new thread or edit the first post in a thread. Just copy and paste the link to them and change the XXX part to the race as listed beneath the box.

You can use any picture you like just by putting the address to the image in that box, you don't have to use the existing ones, they are just there to save you from having to create your own if you don't want to do so.

Posting Images
To post an image you just need to have the image hosted somewhere. I suggest using a site such as photobucket or imageshack. Then to display the image you just need to use [img] tags. The format is
Code:
[img]www.linktothepicture.com/image.jpg[/img]
you can either type that out or use the image button and paste the link to the image in the box that pops up.

Posting links
Links should work automatically just by copy and pasting them, or you can use the button.

Play Creator
If you want to make use of the Play Creator and link the plays onto the forum then you can do that just by copy and pasting the Forum Link from their site. You can find that by clicking on "my plays" and then it is listed underneath each of your plays, in the first text box labelled "Forum link".

Block Dice Smilies
To get the Block Dice Symbols in your posts they have been added as smilies to the forum. Type the corresponding shortcode between two colons : : as shown below. Or if creating a new thread or using the advanced post screen you can simply click on the smilies on the right hand side of the text box where you type your message.

Code:
:pow:
:pow!:
:push:
:skull:

Attaching Replays
First step is to find where the replays are stored on your hard drive. For me they're in My Documents -> BloodBowlLegendary -> Saves -> Replays so it should be something very similar for you. The folder should be full of .db files.

Next, work out which one you want to upload. They're only listed by date and time unfortunately, so you may need to go in-game to locate the right file by viewing the replays there if you can't remember exactly when you played which game.

Then you need to put the .db file into a .zip file. Now depending on which version of Windows you're using, this might be different each time, but if you right-click on the file in the Replays folder, then go down to Send To, hopefully there should be an option called Compressed (zipped) folder or something similar. Click on it, and it should create another file with the same name as the replay but with .zip after it instead of .db.

To share the replay on the thread, when you're on the Reply screen, under Additional Options you can click on Manage Attachments. Use the window that pops up to select the .zip file you've just made from the Replays folder, click Upload and once it's done you can close the window and reply.
