This is my primary ball picker-upper/score on "You Are Just Unlucky", my proof-off-concept Amazonian team (9 linewomen, 2 blitzers). Worth noting, everyone on the team is at least a blodger or a wrestle/dodger (wrodger?), and their team value is currently about 133.

Also worth noting - I also play a lot of other teams that I do not go to such TV shenanigans, including an amazon team with a TV around 180 with full positionals and reserves.

This player is an Amazone Linewoman with:

6 move
3 strength
5 agility
7 armor
Skill ups (in order gained): +AGI, +AGI, block, fend

Technically, I would be better at the whole TV management thing if I fired her, but she is amazing. Really hoping for doubles, might pick up leap!

I bet that lino gets targeted pretty hard! Has your apothecary become hers and hers alone?

She has received a couple of no assist fouls. That said, I typically run the ball with her - and so far I have been able to protect her. I believe she was badly hurt one game, but I have not had to use an apothecary on her. She has lived a charmed life thus far. The apothecary is currently reserved for her. Amazingly, the team has gone 10-2-0 without yet having to face dwarves. She will die some day, but in the mean time, blodge, fend, and a cage have kept her pretty safe!

Hmm, seems to me this is a thread of times people have rolled 2 AG or 2 ST on a player Players are more than their skills and statlines IMO, that’s one reason why I’m not posting a screen shot I’m telling a story

Red was the smallest player in his division. With various Elf and Human (Amazon, Vampire and Norse) teams no-one was as short as the Dwarves and Red wasn’t one of the big powerful Dwarves, he was small and scrawny, but Red was quick and agile with a good pair of hands and so he made the cut and got the number 1 jersey for “They’re Probably Dwarves” the only Dwarf entry into the second Crunch Cup. Red became the go to Dwarf for ball handling, while White was as good in practice the ball just seemed to like Red literally bouncing into his hands. Red was a quick learner and after the first couple of matches could keep pace with even the Elf Blitzers, he started to slip through smaller and smaller gaps and opposition would find themselves unable to stop Red passing by them with consummate ease.

Red is a Dwarf Runner from my crunch cup team, he got +1mv as his first skill, dodge as his second and after match 7 picked up block as his 3rd. He’s the top scoring, highest spp, longest rushing (I think) player in the crunch cup and the dice loved him, I can barely think of a time where he failed a dodge or a GFI, he’s made pickups in tackle zones and dodged to safety and soaked more 2D blocks with a “defender stumbles” result keeping him on his feet holding the ball then any player has any right to. I tried to feed touch downs to White (my other runner) and other players on the team but any time another player touched the ball it would be knocked loose by some 1D block and Red would have to go pick it up again and show the other Dwarves how it was done.

I could be wrong but in 7 matches I can only remember a single time when Red lost the ball, I lost the ball other times but only because I made the mistake of letting another Dwarf hold it for a bit. He is certainly my league mvp and an arrogant little lawn ornament to boot.

Well this is my first ever screen-shot, and it's kind of fitting that it's my favorite player of all time.

He plays for my practice halfling team FC Corrugated Cardboard, who are unique among my halfling teams for being almost competitive. I'm scared to play them in case something happens to him.

Introducing Bully Pinebranch, a level 5 tree. He rolled Block, then I gave him Multiple Block, and since then he has been causing casualties like a motherkisser.
Now at level 5, which is a shame because I'm running out of skills that are worth taking.
