| Im due to join an existing league next week where everyone is around the 1200 TV mark. I'll be using a new Skaven team (I was torn between rats and elves) who will be tv 1000. It looks as follows: Sewer Cydal: 1 rat Ogre 2 Storm Vermin 2 Gutter runners 1 thrower 5 line rats 3 rerolls Any advice? Im not a usual skaven player but Ive had a successful human team, theyre just a bit softer right? I'll be playing with full inducements so will probably have anywhere between 150 and 250 TV difference to spend each game. I've not done my homework but its meant to be a big league with a good mix of teams. It's on the cyanide game as well. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it... |

| I'm not sure which inducements are available for the cyanide game, I just know they aren't all there. If you perhaps listed what was available to pick we can advise a bit better. I'd also check out the starting Skaven rosters and drop the Rat Ogre and go with four Gutter Runners and an Apothecary. I believe Headsplitter is in the game so you can induce him if you wanted, both him and a normal Rat Ogre have Loner so you wouldn't be as hindered compared to hiring a Merc Gutter Runner.

| Start with Gutter Runners as you can hire the Rat Ogre as a Merc for 180k and they are not that useful to the team. If Cyanide has Glart Smashrip Jr or Hakflem Skuttlespike I would use one them as your star not Headspliter. Extra Apothecary's will keep your players healthy and a Wizard can be useful. Not sure what else is in the computer game...

| if the league is still at ~1200Tv then drop the Rat Oger and get a GR and an appo first. for inducements. hm ... do you play in blitz mode? because there are some spezial options you can set there for inducements. (zb wizzards and such stuff) If you are playing normal mode there are just (appo, rerolls, bribes (100k each), mercanaries , starplayers (Morg'n'Thorg or Headsplitter)) generaly as a skaven you suffer from the low armor and the luck needed for dodging with your Linerats. for the startsetup i tend to start with a "strong" and a "weak" flank. kind of this way. <iframe src="http://www.play-creator.com/miniplay.asp?viewplay=5496" width="268" height="158" frameborder="0"></iframe> |

| Do you know is it regular inducements or extended inducements? Bribes or re-rolls are the obvious, though you might not have enough money in the pot for both. But with the extended inducements (which I don't really like) you could either use potions to make try and make your linerats a bit tougher or try and reduce the abilities of opponents. |
