| Ok, my local game store has entitled me as "The Commish", for an informal BB league. Looking to start out with pick up games over a month or two timeframe. Letting people play at their own pace, and having a fun tournament at the end of that. Using LBR6 rules, but no special cards. Just inducements for Star Players, etc. I hope to do a more structured league, with scheduled games, etc. After finishing this fun pick up league. I was curious if anyone had run a free form league before, and what that thoughts were if we allowed teams to play with over a 100k difference between teams...? |

| Let teams play with all the difference they want, just make sure that the underdog desides if the game is a good idea. |

| Yeah some inducements can be pretty useful, a wizard for an agility team facing a bash team (elves vs orcs) for example can be a real game changer as it completely shuts down the 2-1 grind with average luck. Fireball the cage, steal the ball and score is not so hard with a bit of luck. I think inducements are more of a problem at low TV than at high (i.e. a tv 1000 team playing a tv 1500 team is a lot harder than for a tv 1500 team to play a tv 2000 team) because a tv 1500 will have a lot more of the basic (and much better) skills. But in the end I agree with NS, let them play if they want. |

| The inducement system was introduced so you didn't have to worry about it. So don't worry about it!

| Awesome! thanks for the clarification on the inducements, makes things much easier! Since its a free form pick up league before our first bowl tourney, there should.t be much else to worry about. Any advice is welcome though! |

| I'm not sure if it's still in the rulebook or not (my PC's currently playing up, and wont let me open pdfs to check), but the Challenge rules allows for an Underdog to decline a challenge from a bigger team OR get a substitute team in (if that team agrees) - that normally solves any cherry-picking issues. Other than that, don't sweat it (though personally, I'd allow cards just for the mayhem ).
