You're dead on Mico. You definitely couldn't say he was wrong. Sceadeau is one of the best Khemri players I've seen and used them perfectly.

No one's arguing he wasn't a great player. It was his totally superior attitude that rubbed everyone up the wrong way.

I would generally agree with him that blood bowl is a game about minimising risk. I'd argue though that you also need to see when a risk is needed or extremely beneficial.

Also if you don't block you don't cause casualties. If you don't offer Nuffle a chance to help you... you will lose to a superior foe or in a bad situation.

When you move badly... resorting to violence can give you the edge back...

I've played against MB+Claw teams that you have to keep blocking and putting them on the floor... otherwise they will hurt back. I took risks and they paid off... and like Bucket said above... the WOW moments don't come from undaring cost benefit mentality.

So, probably abandoning the Norse - now either my themed human team, or possibly a reroll-less elven team. Themed team does match the other themed teams. (And I guess they can foul their way into the hearts and minds of the viewers
