| +Ag makes the number you're aiming to roll one less, Pass gives you a reroll. Let's do some sums! Assuming you're trying for a long pass and your thrower is safely behind the LOS so not in any tackle zones. Normal: One roll of 4+ = 50% chance of success. + Ag: One roll of 3+ = 67% chance of success. Pass: Rerollable 4+ = 75% chance of success (assuming my probabilities haven't gone askew). Obviously different situations mean that each option has it's bonuses. and you have only the one chance to get Ag whereas Pass you can pick up at any time. I'd probably take the Ag up and make a lot of quick passes to grow the SPPs on this guy to get pass ASAP. Others may well suggest something else, I'd listen to them |

| I would still take the AG as it helps in other situations like dodging and picking up tackle zones and if it is raining. Completions add up to get skills anyway I wouldn't worry about that, it also isn't like you need to throw it that far when you can then do a hand off on a 2+ anyway. So you can get the forward movement of three players and the pass length down the pitch. That would cover a lot of squares.

| Most definitely take the AG increase. As Raveen and Coach have already pointed out, this not only means getting the benefit of Strong arm or Accurate (+1) for passing, but also means he is more mobile on the pitch, allowing him to move through more tackle zones in order to be in a better position to make a safer pass and let's him pick up the ball (and pass) better while in tackle zones. Raveen's math is quite right, so if you skill him up again and then take Accurate after the AG increase you'll get 83,3 % chance of success. If you take Pass after the AG increase you'll get 88,8 % chance of success. So yes, AG increase for a Thrower is a sweet deal. |

| Strictly speaking the extra AG isn't +1 to passing, it changes the base target number of success. The negative band range modifiers aren't affected at all, which is why passing skills are better as their +1 counters those to make fumbles less likely. Extra agility changes it to have more success against the chance of being inaccurate but doesn't alter the chances of fumbles.

| Wow, thanks for the quick and great responses. Seems to be a really great forum here. I will post an introduction of myself later in the other section. I went for AG+1 now. Now I have the same "problem" with one of my blitzer. I will post the question in the blitzerthread so that I am not mixing up the different positions |
