My HE team has had a ridiculous number of doubles, and lately has gotten + AG on both my catcher and thrower. The catcher just got ANOTHER + AG at 31 SPP. So I'm asking you guys what you think I should do. The benefits of the 6 AG over 5 AG, while cool, don't really outweigh the fact that he still has no protection skills yet. Here's what the boys look like-

Blitzer 1-dodge, tackle
blitzer 2- dodge, MB, -AV
thrower- guard, +AG
catcher- guard, +AG
2 linemen with guard
3 linemen with dodge/wrestle
1 lineman with dodge/kick
1 lineman with dodge
1 unskilled lineman
3 RR's, apo, 1 cheerleader, 1 AC
Total TV- 1670, 470K banked

I want to get blodge on both the thrower and catcher, and once a few more linemen get another skill (or die), I want to hire another catcher or 2. I had originally planned to have one defensive thrower, and one "pure" thrower for offense, but I don't really see that as necessary with 5 AG anymore.

Ag 6 is not worth it compared to Ag 5 - especially on a player with no protections skills. I would take Block or Dodge on him.

I agree!

As cool has AG6 sounds the most you'll really need is AG5.

An AG5 Thrower can be used as both an offensive and defensive player, although without protection he may not get there! The Catcher is especially vulnerable with AV7 and Guard not combining too safely! Luckily scoring should be a doddle. Dodge first?

If it had been on a pre-skilled positional (especially wardancers, but wood elf catchers, gutter runners, witch elves or possibly other elf blitzers) can feasibly use AG 6. Catchers without protective skills.. do not have use for AG 6 until the protective skills are in place. AG 5 is good for everything you'd normally run into.

So another vote for dodge. Then Leap. Then Wrestle. Then Strip Ball.
