| Orcs have a dedicated Thrower positional which makes it way more easy... and Orcs don't have speed like Necro. So when things get problematic they don't have a choice of not throwing. Necro have 4 quick guys.

| True in general, but once you have an AG 4 Wight that evens out, especially as the speedy/dodgy receivers make for more of a passing threat. Having rolled Strong Arm on the Orc Thrower does tip the balance back towards him though. |

| If you rolled a double on this Wight and you really wanted to make him a passer, how about accurate? Then strong arm and you're better than an elf thrower! ...or am i getting the passing modifier thing wrong again... I've been scolded before (not on this forum of course!) You could be playing necro while bringing out your inner-elf... |

| If you have AG 4 and Strong Arm, Accuracy only helps with Long Passes (3+->2+) or Long Bombs (4+ ->3+, and only fumble on 1s). It would also help when you're marked or hit by Disturbing Presence, but I find that's not usually a problem. Pass on the other hand helps with all passes, especially when you're short of rerolls. Even when you have rerolls handy it lets you reserve your reroll for the catch so that you can reroll both rolls, which is definitely important with AG 3 receivers. Accuracy is more important when you're looking for a long passing game and/or have Catch on Receivers. I think Pass is more useful here though as I'm mainly looking at an option play with relatively short passes, and my receivers are fairly mediocre -- it would be more about opening up the run than actually passing all that often. | It would also help in Very Sunny weather - which is also not a common problem.

| I still like it! 2+,2+,2+,3+ on your throws would be fantastic! Yes pass is a better skill for general use and the percentages are better, but that kind of deep passing threat might help spread defenses if you're playing against more bashy teams. Good if you have to throw in a tackle zone though that doesn't come up very often. Also would make that necessary 2 turn TD that might come up near the end of the half a little easier. But then, I like playing elves so my desire for the flashy game skews my ability for rational thought! And of course, this is all speculation that you might roll a double... |

| I ran the odds, and it's a closer race between Pass and Accuracy than I thought. Accuracy comes out clearly ahead if you consider all pass ranges as equally useful/likely, especially as it drops your fumble chances. Pass is only better if you're more likely to throw shorter passes. Code: AG 4 + Strong Arm throw to AG 3 receiver, w/ reroll
adding Pass:
Quick Pass: 86.4%
Short Pass: 86.4%
Long Pass: 79.0%
Long Bomb: 66.7%
adding Accuracy:
Quick Pass: 83.3%
Short Pass: 83.3%
Long Pass: 83.3%
Long Bomb: 74.1% |

| But you may have used the rr to dodge the Thrower free or some other vital rerolled block. So i dont think you can always rely on having 1 free. Whilst its entirely hypothetical (requires you to roll a double) I would go Pass all the way (assuming i was building him as a thrower). You are generally more likely to throw shorter passes too, given your team and Necro general playstyle. Its not like you'd leave the thrower near your end zone whilst everyone else runs forward - he will more likely be in a loose cage near to the action. Hence shorter passes.

| Oh, I agree. I'm just saying that the odds between the two are better than I thought, and that if you were looking for a long passing game Accuracy is substantially better. I think they also show that adding either doesn't change the odds all that much, which is an argument in favor of Diving Catch on some other player instead. |

| The issue is that pass gives you a second chance... even the best thrower with a quick pass will be gimped 1/6th of the time by rolling 1.
