I tried one match with a mixed team. That was enough for me to tell that it's not for me. Way too overpowered to be amusing, in my opinion. But I can see how others might enjoy the sillyness of it.

I'd be interested, but have way too much going on at the moment. Later perhaps, in a month or two

It needs to have explicit rules like a friend of mines league. Set tv, only one double skill and one attribute if not clean tv. Should have 8-10 base players from one team, with a few other in the same group but other races. If its a complete mix, I agree with poster above, it's too insane. Just my thoughts

    I was thinking like
    1... pick an alliance
2....pick your main race and take 8 players from it
3....pick secondary race, have two from it
4....pick third race, have one player from it
(5)...if you buy more than 11 players, extra pieces must come from the main race.

    I like it,

Main race goblins, so can have all of their team.
Secondary race, Chaos Dwarfs, take 2 hobgoblins.
third race, Orcs, have the orc troll to go with your 2 goblin trolls.

    Slightly better goblin team!

Mmmh, Pro Elves with two Wardancers and one Witch. Or Chaos with 2 Gutter Runners and one DE Blitzer. Still seems pretty broken.

How about just starting at TV100 like a normal league? It stops the excesses from coming into effect till everyone has had a chance to develop.

I agree. Just allow anything. You only have 1000 buy the team initially so can't have all the best players and if it only a 9 game season then it isn't going to get too crazy.
If it ends up lasting more than 1 season then have a TV cap so you have to trim your TV at the start of the season to be allowed to continue with the same team.

I have started a new league, called The Duals League. Starting at TV1000 and also an additional cap, only TWO races allowed. That will balance things out a little bit. As soon as we have 4 teams we can start a small knockout competition and take it form there

It seems cool, two more people and we can start our first knockout

My friends and I are finishing up a mixed team league, and it's been a lot of fun. I agree absolutely with setting the starting rosters at TV1000, which keeps teams from going too crazy on the positionals, and possibly an overall TV ceiling depending on your tolerance. The mixed teams as set up on BB2 aren't particularly balanced (the mixed Undead and Chaos/Nurgle teams lag behind in particular), but it's still fun to run around with a hodgepodge of different players (and I say, if you can make ten big guys work on the Ogre/Halfling/Goblin team, you gotta try it).

I'd be interested to play, but not at the moment, in a month or two. Instead of DungeonBowl next season, eh, @tys123 ?

Hmmm... I think you could make a REALLY competitive team using Underworld as a base...
