    Niki pulling out a win gives me a solid 3rd place and that gets me exactly the same as 10th place. Well, maybe some bragging rights. [​IMG]

    Actually - I just read that afrost is sitting out Season 21 and resting on his laurels. Does that mean everyone moves up one spot, and you get to stay in Tier 1 (ala Big Crunch), or does OCC handle this differently?

    Once (if, by now) the homepage goes up again, third place gets into the list of winners as "best of the rest" (since first and second get to stay up)

    So this does get on your permanent record.

    As a rule - when two ways to handle something would both be fair, BC and OCC will handle them differently ;)

    Occ does bonus promotions, BC removes demotions. It's all whether you want to punish poor performers or not reward second best.

    3rd team in div1 stays around. So instead of 2 DE 1 HE next season, it's now 3 DE. Super.

    I thought highest points 3rd place finish in Tier 2 went up?

    That's how Muffin Thief went up the season he won the league.

    Yep. OCC have always done "first any who should have been there last season, but passed then, and after that bonus promotions".

    But Juriel knows that, and he meant that, since if #3 of Div1 would have gotten to stay they would have been Vampires.
    Instead the 2A Dark Elves (a.k.a. third in first division of tier two) gets promoted.

    Clear as mud. :D

    Oooh, excitingly I won "Dirty Git" in division 2D with my high elves. Defeating G20 into the bargain...

    I also got the "7 casualties received" award.

    Does Arwens Arrows / Lee's Lizards coming back change that?
    Can't remember if either of them would have been in Tier 1 before they sat out.

    If not the dark elves are going up because they are the 3rd placed team with the most points. Not just because A comes before B.

    I meant that 2A was first in the way I think Juriel meant.

    And neither AA nor T have any claim on D1. Pid said a total of three had such positions. (I.e. reached D1, then gone on hiatus). Antonlunau got to use his, afrostb said he'd maybe wait until such a position was available .. and better ask Pidpad for more details if you want them.

    That's nice of you, although I suspect you just wanted to be able to beat up on a bottom tier team

    On the bright side I will once again be able to start collecting those 7+ beatings awards Everblue was talking about.

    It was very refreshing being in Div 2 this year where every match was against a different race.

    Also Vamps at that TV are pretty nasty.

    Well Barristan, it looks like we are both in 4C. And being joined there by Viajero. So there are going to be some quality games this season (or at least I hope they are quality - as opposed to "OMG, ANOTHER SNAKE EYES!!!").

    Multiples of the same race. 4 Chaos in 2A. We also have two vamps but I only have to play one. I think I would rather play two vamps and three chaos though. then we have orcs, undead chaos Dwarf and the one pro elf. Good luck Boffa
