New info and pics:
Early September just in time for my Birthday.
They realease on FB the TD animation of the Kislev Bear
So now the Bear is my primary ball carrier. Really hope he rolls +AG or doubles for Sure Hands.
Wow! And such long animation too. Surely, they have finished all other bugs so they can spare the time on that...
But, I like it. Too bad, you won't see it in game very often.
That animation looks like slightly altered goblin touchdown from BBCE times?
At least that animation will have some use; I feel sorry for guy the who did beast of nurgle and treeman leap animations...
I suspect that the big guy animations are deliberately elaborate because they are hard to score with.
Amazons; Ogres and Gnoblars
Wow, those look amazing!
Esspecially the ogres!
I don't mind the kislevs, never been fan of the frogs myself.
Actually the bear brings back memories, as we used to proxy some big guy with Mordheim Kislev bear back in the student days tt league.
Release date revealed to be 5th of September. You can pre-order it on Steam right now! Pre-Ordering apparently also gives you access to an upcoming Beta Phase, as well as a 10% discount overall.
I've been watching Sages videos of Legendary edition. I am pretty stoked to play with all these "new" races. Blood Bowl 2 being my first venture into the game I will enjoy the variety.
Watching the Hafling vs Vampire match is getting me stoked for Vamps. Even though the Vamps got pitch cleared and couldn't knock down a Hafling all game. Even with only 2 Hypno gaze he was making life hell for the stunties.
I wonder the beta phase begins. I will certainly be preordering, but wondering how long I can wait to do so.
I am pretty excited for the stunty teams. I am sure I will get destroyed, but Goblins look to be a blast, and the idea of 3 trees on the field sounds fun as well. I am also looking forward to the new elves. When I first got BB2 I spent a lot of time playing AI leagues just to learn the teams and have fun. I am sure I will be doing that all over again.
I'm pretty interested by the prospect of Goblins with the Star player stadium upgrade, because they have tons of really cheap star player options which would be literally 10-40k each with the upgrade. You could fairly easily take multiple in every game you play with Inducements its pretty crazy the combos you could do. Halflings offer actually competitive gaming however, three trees, a chef and plenty of fodder make for 1 turn touch down nightmare.
Hypnotic Gaze is possibly the most powerful ability in blood bowl its great and really changing up traditional tactics and strategies in bloodbowl, Team wise I'm stoked for Kislev (Slann) as I've never actually played with the team before and again like Vampires its another team that shakes up the traditional playstyles and tactics of bloodbowl and forces coaches to adapt and change things up. However with Hack n Slash finally joining the fray Khemri are going to have to make a return as a long term league team for me to use.
I feel like Vampires with a wizard are going to be a terror. You don't want to clump together for fear of fireball. But if you set up a loose screen then they'll just Hypno gaze past and hit the ball carrier. I'm going to enjoy skilling up some stud vamps. And bemoan the amount of thralls I'm bound to lose.
The problem is of course a lot of that applies to orcs too... that stadium rapidly becomes broken with the weapons added.
