Like Via said, a lot of universities/schools require their students to do one of those. And you are lucky when you get paid at all. I did a 10 weeks placement back in 2000 and got paid roughly 450 euros for the whole lot. And that was a lot less pleasant than testing video games. :)

I saw it and am hopeful they can make a semi decent AI.

Sounds cool, hopefully it will help new players make the transition to multiplayer more easily.

Useful article - seems to be that fears about a real money based trading system may not be realised, which would be a good thing.

The AI looks interesting, I do hope they make it moddable. Can create some wood/pro elf teams that are great at stealing teh ball and dying.

Pretty for sure. I just hope they handle resource management better, since their current game (not as pretty) has a tendency to sink my computers.

Yeah, BB1 is so resource intense it overheats almost any gfx card purely through bad programming.

BB1 doesn't seem bad on my laptop. If I play Civ5 it gets noticeably hot sitting on my lap. Geforce 770M card.

If I play BB on anything else than minimum settings my last computer would lag all the time.

Even with minimum settings my current computer needs a cooling plate, or it will blue screen after an hour or two of BB.

Yeah. My main worry for BB2 is that they're too fixated on the presentation and graphics to actually improve. Only shipping with 8 teams, as compared to 23 in CE, will reduce numbers of people upgrading (and the teams theyre meant to be shipping with are odd choices) and there's not a huge amount to indicate they've focussed on key issues with the current platform. Rules issues, bugs and exploits still abound and there are cries for more star players, none of which has been addressed. Instead, they've only spoken on graphics and presentation, and improved AI. Yes, singleplayer is a travesty, but even so people don't play BB to beat a computer. They're too worried on broadening their audience and trying to make it a more mainstream game to actually front up to the errors and issues, which is what most BB players are bothered with.

And lets not even mention the Bretonnians, shall we?
