I enjoyed the win but not looking forward to the rematch as I got lucky with the injury rolls. Not sure what the odds are on that dodging run but I would have thought it somewhere around 50%. However I didn't get the stumble on the cage corner. You left the back corner of the cage wide open. I just needed to make a dodge with 2 gutters for a 50% chance of knocking the ball loose. No one is going to turn that down.

Yep, I'll edit that when I do the replay write up. I recall not having the MA to cover that square and having to leave it open. I think I was a little greedy on moving up the pitch to fast. Probably should have taken my time there.

Is this thing on...testing, testing. Welcome, welcome fans of the Green; your own Asst. Mgr. Sog-sopp reporting to you on today' return to the win column against the Wood Elves of Darkmyst.

Sporting a well developed team, the Darkmyst also brought several niggle injuries to the pitch which the Orcs were chomping to take advantage of. Prior to the start of the game Coach Silfuin hired an extra Lineman to bolster his bench; this allowed the Orcs to bring along an 'extra keg' for the sidelines.

Woodies elect to receive the kick off and set up for their initial drive.

T-1 Kick off lands 'WAY' closer to the LOS than planned, but a random Lino fails to catch the ball leaving it on the pitch. After LOS blocks & WD blitz 2-Orcs are down but no armor rolls are successful.

+1 SPP to #2 WD after pick-up of ball & pass to #3 Thrower, end of turn.

T-1a Reposition of defense, marking several players. (
Aware of +MA & AG4 advantage of Woodies my game plan is to play 'deny the advance & make them use rerolls).

T-2 After a couple of :pushback::pushback: blocks #2 WD attempts to leap/ blitz #2 Borc but only manages a turnover when she fails the leap roll / stunned.

T-2a A few more :pushback::pushback: & :powdodge::powdodge: but no armor fails until... #3 Borc blitz KO' #8 Lino.

T-3 (
In a move that plays more into my strategy than Silfuin the BC retreats to near his own EZ awaiting a 1-turn opening). 1st block, #16 Tree :skull::skull: reroll to :pushback::pushback: (2/3 rolls gone). #2 WD blitzes #9 Lino for :pow: and moves up pitch. Several other Woodies take advantage of AG4 to complete 6x dodge rolls to move up pitch for later offensive targets.

T-3a After marking players & a couple of 2d knockdowns that did not result in armor breaks #7 Blitzer KO' #6 Catcher.

T-4 Woodies commit 2x players & #2 WD (
burns last reroll on GFI) blitz/ surfs #2 Borc / stunned. Then #5 Catcher runs around defense but fails GFI / stunned.

T-4a & T-5 See mostly :pushback::pushback: & :bothdown::bothdown: with no armor rolls, and few knock downs. Woodie BC now in middle of his own half of pitch.

T-5a All players marked defensively, +MA Blitzer & Guard Blitzer move to pressure BC. #6 Blitzer KO' #2 WD.

T-6 Ready to make his move, feeling the pressure...#1 WD blitzes #10 Lino :pow: opening a path for #12 Lino to catch, score. However, not to be denied...

+2 SPP #1 Thrower for grabbing the interception, end of turn.

T-6a +2 SPP #5 Borc blitzes the BC free, #14 DP Lino :skull:Dead:skull:. +1 SPP #1 Thrower uses reroll to complete pass to #7 +MA Blitzer who then moves down pitch for later score.

T-7 Attempting to free a MA8 Catcher #16 Tree uses BT/ blitz but fails the BT roll for turnover.

T-7a With no players to pressure the BC he moves to EZ to stall for T-8 score. +2 SPP #8 Blitzer on #15 Thrower / BH.

T-8 Frustrated, the Woodies attempt a 3-assist foul on #6 POMB Blitzer, stunned, but ejected by referee.

T-8a +3 SPP #7 Blitzer, Halftime Woodies 0 - 1 Orcs

T-9 9-Woodies v. 11-Orcs; high kick result lands just in front of #1 Thrower. After LOS blocks & caging the BC near the LOS. +2 SPP #7 Blitzer concussion apo' to BH on #5 Catcher.

T-9a Having seen enough #16 Tree KO' #2 Borc, reposition defense; end of turn.

T-10 BC & cage move over LOS with 3x Borc corners & Guard Blitzer.

Down 2-more players the Darkmyst go all-in on this turn in an attempt to stop the Orcs advance. The Woodies mark up with 2x guard players & knockdown a corner Borc. Then, #1 WD blitzes on #6 Blitzer for :pushback: & marks BC.

T-11 #4 Borc blocks #4 Lino for :bothdown::skull:, I need at least a :pushback: to take advantage of his Guard so reroll to :pushback::pushback:. +2 SPP #6 Blitzer uses PO #1 WD :skull:Dead:skull: & #9 Blitzer KO' #6 Catcher.

T-11a Now with only 5-players on the pitch Coach tries to save players by fouling #6 Blitzer (
fail) only to have #12 Lino ejected.

T-12 Move cage & BC to middle of Woodies half, mark remaining players.

T-12a Apparently nuffle has it in for #16 Tree today. After a successful BT dodge roll & GFI, the ensuing block on cage results in :skull::skull:.

T-13 Move the cage towards the ez & then exercise our :pushback::pushback: 2D efforts on the remaining Woodies.

T-13a-15a The elves have had enough and I'm content to stall for the T-16 score. Not wanting to needlessly foul downed players.

T-16 +3 SPP #1 Thrower scores, Woodies 0 - 2 Orcs

T-16a Woodies set-up for a 1TTD attempt. However, the dice have other ideas as the kick off results in 'Blitz'. The Orcs are able to reach the ball with a Lino & Borc. Then, #4 Borc blitz KO' #10 Lino ensuring that they have little chance to score.

Definitely started to tilt and took to many chances wasting blitzes & guard blocks on Vamps instead of focusing on removing Thralls; while 50% successful the loss of Thralls would have greater impact). #1 Thrower recovers ball & recages at LOS.

T-7 While marking players #14 Thrall fails GFI, turnover. However, with 2-turns left to score the Wizard electrifies BC bouncing the ball into the hands of #2 Borc (

Returning from a short stint as the official nut cracker for your own 'Borderin Orcs' we once again approach a new season of competition in Big Crunch. This year, after failing to hold our own water for more than a few games last season; we once again find ourselves on the fields of Averland.

Sogg-Sopp, Asst. Team Manager here to tell you about the changes and new look of your Season 10 Orcs of Inzanity.


Scouting report for Season 10 matches...

A season of inducement management is the theme for Season 10. 6-9 opponents this season will be spending in excess of 400K each week trying to get the upper hand on your Borderin Orcs.

MD-1 v Hudd’ Norseman – A rookie squad of Norseman Coached by a veteran. A tough first match for Coach Hudd, but 600K inducements should even the field a little, or not.

MD-2 v Edjapo’ Chaos – Second season for the Celebrities give them a +AG Beastman & 2x CW with Block. Still, 500K inducements might buy enough bandages.

MD-3 v sbr32’ SkavenThere Ratz, filthy, slimy, dodgey Ratz. The Orcs bring plenty of Tackle/ MB to the pitch and we shall attempt to capitalize on that to counter the MA of the Ratz.

MD-4 v Werebat’ Underworld – Having faced Wyrmwood in seasons past our history should tell a tale of rivalry. Instead, we look forward to enjoying a match week without Wizards, & Star Players.

MD-5 v Nota’ Elves - This team hails from Season 9 Reikland where the Orcs took advantage of AV7 v. MB/Tackle to score a needed win. We liked that feeling and will be bringing the same for this match day.

MD-6 v Ikoma’ Elves – Second week in a row for Elveses, sorry, squishy AV-7 Elveses. If they can keep a team together this late in the season a cool 500K inducements will be their only prize.

MD-7 v bjj hero’ Khemri – Of all the rookie teams the Orcs face this season the Khemri will be a strong opponent; especially with 6-games to garner some skills. 4x Tomb Guardians, a seasoned Coach, & 500K inducements might make this the match of the season.

MD-8 v Netsmurf Vampires – 3rd Season for Bite Me in Averland. 5-Vampires, 5-rerolls; what could go wrong. Oh yeah, Blood Lust; glorious, momentum crushing BL. And another match with no inducements; we look forward to this one for sure.

MD-9 v Mamutas Undead – A rookie team of Cheery Reapers coached by a rookie to Big Crunch. A fun bash test to finish the Season 10 in Averland. Probably facing another 500K inducements this week, but we’ll be there.

Good luck to everyone this season. Feel free to tenderize eachother prior to facing the Greenies of Orcdomn. Of course, Pints & Flagon’ after our matches are on my tab at the local Alehouse, bandages & crying towels are on your team Manager.

T-1a #4 Borc after watching how well his blitzers played the kick off gets 2d :skull::skull: on #4 Lino, rerolled to :powdodge: for Stun.

T-2 #11 Zerker gets 2d :pow: on #1 Thrower, (no AB). #10 Lino gets 2d :powdodge: on #7 Blitzer, (no AB) but allows BC to move to sidescreen. #1 Wolf uses blitz on #10 Borc for 2d :powdodge:, Stun. #12 Yhetee 2d :powdodge: on #11 Lino, (no AB) EOT.

T-2a Already the Norse positioning have placed the Orcs defense essentially out of options for stopping the drive.
