"Ance Doalain has been remarked as a positive prospect of Elf ball. On top of his natural throwing capabilities, Coach Wolfhide has taught him the running aspect of the game."
"Once the basis of Ance's career was built, coach gave a license to team's 2nd thrower - Clemens Boru - to become the offensive piece of the team."

    (art inbound)
    Tormaen Catchers_edit.jpg
"After loss of Geralth, Tormaen family has sent two new individuals, Eskelth and Vesmire, to bring in the speed for Caretakers. May they live longer than the man who laid their foundation."

    (art inbound)
    Brivhedd Blitzers_edit.jpg
"Nimble yet sturdy. This is the job of Mikoukal who comes from the noble family of Brivhedd. Quality upbringing and practice has brought this specimen to his potential."
"After 17 games, Mikoukal continues to outlive other blitzers - in total 4 others have been given and taken. Now accompanying Mikoukal, we have Tomlinss who has been able to caught up his elder's level. Will the young'un continue to deliver, and take the mantle from Mikoukal's shoulder?"

    (art inbound)
    Dol-Blathanna line-elves_edit.jpg
"Caretakers have signed a sponsorship with Dol-Blathanna sawmill company to send their best to play on the frontline."
"After almost two full seasons, only Suinduil has been able to continue his career in the violent league we all know as 'Big Crunch 2'. May his career be long, and his name eternal."

    (art inbound)
    Vrihedd line-elves_edit.jpg
"Men of Vrihedd airship company that provides small-scale camera platforms for Cabal TV. Having watched blood bowl pitches throughout their lives, these workers will know a trick or two wherever it is needed."
"Company is proud of their own legend, Roloth, who has started to grow within Cothique's home team with his recent performance. Showing speed and capability to ball handling, Roloth is known as team's runner."

Maybe after a few good fatal beatings we should make a poll to ask if we could return the Wurthugel Wardens just for one season... I think there are a lot of teams that would like to give Benjen the possibility to retire in a more... "permanent" way...:D

You gotta work for my hand!

Caretakers brought a decent start to their career by taking 1-0 win over Fairy Tale Monsters. Gave me some food for thought about builds I am very tempted to try. I should be happy with HiE, fresh air after Wardens.

    - Dont force me...

Caretakers continue on winning path after a win over bbt The Unbeliavables - the other HiE team of our division. Harder than expected, but 12SPP in total keeps me happy. Two level ups, both are normals.

Will take few days to think which I buy first, 2nd blitzer or 2nd catcher. Anyways my -AV line-elf will most likely walk away from the team after MD3.

Week 3 game was a loss for me. I was unable to focus on the game, just didn't feel it or enjoy it.

I bought 2nd blitzer for that game, Ilgoth Brivhedd, just to see him die with Apo used on T3. :(:( Big loss for me, all the money from three weeks gone in an instant. Back to square one regarding building. Now I have one line elf MNG, and that -AV bust guy is available. Wonder if I should fire him or not. Will be playing with one loner, two if I do fire him. Next game Saturday against @zectorman

OP now has the art of city of Cothique. Next art piece will be for thrower(s).

Tough game by sounds of it. I'd fire him, journeyelf will be better on the line than an av bust, which means less likely to be playing a player down.

Agreed, if you don't have a bench anyway then you may as well fire the -AV guy. For reasons Spafe stated plus, Loners are more incentive to use for fouling!

What did you have for your starting roster? The fact you are buying a second blitzer and didn't start with both feels odd. I always start with both and use them for scoring with so they can skill early before the catchers / throwers take all the spp later.

Agree on firing the AV guy and taking a loner.

I feel your pain Ilgoth. I started High Elves in Little Crunch. Game 1 dead blitzer. Game 2 dead lino and a -AGI lino (fired). After 2 games I have finally managed to hire an apo, but that leaves 20K in the bank and I have 8 players with only 1 blitzer and a thrower as positionals. I thought these guys were meant to rich:mad:!

It was 8x line elves - thrower, catcher and blitzer.

That sounds rough! Glad one of my injuries was mere MNG.

Fourth game of the season brought me another loss.

Started in defense, couldn't hold it and my 6+ foul produced non-AB sent-off, so went one guy short very fast. I did manage to take some time, and force Underworld to score earlier (their T5) so I had a chance to make it 1-1 before half-time. Sadly, I was greedy and took some risks which didn't pay off and on T8 opponent sacked, passed and made second touchdown. So I was down by two at half-time.

Offense wasn't walk in the park at the beginning, but then I suddenly removed 3 pieces and 2-1 was somewhat easy. @zectorman tried TTM-scoring that failed and killed a goblin. Ball was there for me to take it, had two turns so set up three scoring threats on my T15. Sadly, my sack didnt bounce the ball good but it landed next to three opposing pieces... Went for it, didnt work out. 2-1 loss it is.

Two levels from this and no injuries + 30K gold to my bank. One line elf rolled +MA, took it because you guys know me - I dont pass on stat buffs. My thrower achieved 2nd level and he now has Block (building a defensive thrower).

I wouldn't have taken the MA on a line elf.
I can see an argument for a wrodge or blodge lineelf taking +AV and standing on the LoS but I don't see the benefit of MA7 when you are going to have 4 catchers with more skills that are MA8 and 2 blitzers that are MA7.
AV9 makes him better at his job which is standing on the Los and taking the hits instead of the better players. MA7 means he has 3 squares left instead of 2 after he has stood up and dodged away 1 square to form columns. I still wouldn't have taken the AV until he reached level 3 but at least that would have been useful more often.
