As a reminder, the rules for Crunch Cup are here. If you have any questions, especially about whether your team is eligible for Crunch Cup, check here first:
    http://www.bbtactics.com/forum/threads/crunch-cup-the-rules.4115/

I would like to get Season 16 of Crunch Cup started by Tuesday, September 15. I would like to have all teams applied to the league in-game by Saturday, September 12, so I have time to construct divisions and look for replacement players in case anybody doesn't show up. With the current number of players, the regular season will run through about the third week in October, and playoffs will run through about the end of November.

We currently have 24 players committed. Unless we get enough additional players to add more divisions or enlarge divisions, the format will be 4 divisions of 6 teams each. The top four teams in each division's regular season will advance to the playoffs. There will be no wild-card entries into the playoffs.

As usual, the divisions will be grouped by TV (with stunties seeded a bit higher than their actual TV so they can expect to have inducements). Divisions 1 and 2 will be the higher TV divisions, with the lower TV teams in Divisions 3 and 4.

    Playoff seedings will look like:
    1st place Division 1 vs 4th Place Division 2
    3rd place Division 1 vs 2nd Place Division 2
    2nd Place Division 1 vs 3rd Place Division 2
    4th Place Division 1 vs 1st Place Division 2

    1st place Division 3 vs 4th Place Division 4
    3rd place Division 3 vs 2nd Place Division 4
    2nd Place Division 3 vs 3rd Place Division 4
    4th Place Division 3 vs 1st Place Division 4

The remaining 8 teams may enter the Crunched Cup if there is enough interest.

If you are one of the following 24 coaches, please apply in game by September 12. The league name is "Crunch Cup", with owner Dreamy. The password for the league is "crunchcup" (without the quotes). Note that you are not obligated to apply with the team listed below, as long as whatever team you apply with is eligible for Crunch Cup.

Once again I would like to point out that as an Ogre team I'd prefer to give away inducements rather then receive them having tried it both ways.

I applied too ... and want to repeat that I am afk until September 21th ... so I will miss my first match unless somebody offers to act as a replacement coach. Please give me notice by PN if you got the time.

I do trust that the Commissioner will make a wise decision here, but just wanted to add my two cents as well: There are certainly differences in how badly all of the stunty teams want inducements. Flings probably want A LOT of inducements (Deeproot, Zara, Chef preferably), Gobbos want quite a bit (the magic 420), while Underworld would rather be in an equal TV situation (or maybe be a 50-100 TV underdog), and Ogres as Phunbaba pointed out perhaps even want to give away inducements. Of course in other leagues you can't "pick and choose" your opponents, either, so coaches of stunty teams shouldn't expect perfect conditions, but I would advise not treating all stunties equally (then again: are Ogres and Underworld even stunty?).

I trust him too and I'm not picking who I'll face, he is.

Over half of my team is ST1 and while not quite 1/3 have ST5 they also tend to ignore 1 in 6 orders so I'd say yes I'm a stunty team. Underworld are right at the cusp of being stunty IMO. Ogre's are just funny in that they, okay not really as this pretty much applies to everybody, in that they tend to do better vs less developed teams. Less guard, tackle, and all that.

Also I've applied in game, though the password seemed to be "crunchcup" rather than "Crunch Cup" At least I didn't see any other Crunch Cups managed by Dreamy.

PS. I don't think I've ever seen anyone question the stuntyness of Ogre teams before.

I'm certainly no expert on Ogres. And I don't want to become one, as they probably smell! :p

I therefore didn't really want to put in doubt the stuntiness of Ogres, I was merely "openly musing" about where normality ends and stuntiness begins. One could argue that true stuntiness can only be achieved by a) having players with Stunty and at the same time b) being a tier 3 team. By that definition, Ogres are certainly stunty, while Underworld (I would argue) and Lizardmen (well, no surprise) are not.

It is interesting that out of all the teams that could be considered stunty, Underworld is the only one that cannot legally fill their whole roster with 16 stunty players, which is another argument against them being stunty :)

Nikolai has given me the rundown on how to seed stunties. Goblins and Halflings will be receiving a significant boost to their TV for seeding purposes, but Ogres and Underworld will not be.

I am still going to join but I am still deciding which team, and both teams need at least one more CTA match.

I am hoping to have that all sorted by the end of the long weekend here.
