Undead Experience Initiative Image courtesy of Universally Monsterous Picture by Glen Ostrander Yes folks, you are all waiting for it: The UEI Crunch Cup And as you can probably tell, this is not it. As usual there will be an interim season, and once more this will be CTALE. Crunch Them All League - Exhibition season III So, what is CTALE? Well, as the name might imply, it is an exhibition league, to allow teams from Crunch Them All to run the circuit and gain some money and experience before hitting the main stage. And most importantly, make a name for themselves and perhaps build up a little bit of rivalry. The League will have seeded divisions with six teams in every division, meaning the season will be five weeks long. Seeding will be based upon team TV (current and potential) modified by team history and coach history and if possible a nod towards spreading races out for variety. There will be no play-offs for the League - you are mostly playing for the glory, and the fame. It will probably be nothing but the glory. Matches are played weekly, organised via these forums, with the league operating in Classic rules mode with 4 minute turns and standard inducements only. Since this is a "Semirookie" League, teams will be eligible to enter if they are either: a) Rookie teams b) Rookie teams with up to 6 games played in Crunch Them All open league c) Teams from an earlier CTALE who were in group a then and have not played any interim games. Teams that have played in the CTALE will be allowed to go on to the Crunch Cup afterwards. They are also eligible to the "two games between seasons" between CTALE and the Crunch Cup (but if you intend to take the team straight on to the CC you will only have a few days to get those games in, should you want them). If you would like to enter, please respond below. When filling out the league teams will be accepted in the order of the list. Just provide your coach name, team name and race. Team values and eligibility will be reviewed prior to seeding and following a period for teams to enter the League in game itself. Coaches that fail to apply in game within the time limit or whose teams don't meet the rules for entry will be passed over for any reserve coaches further down the list. Applications should preferably be in before the end of the month of November - then everyone accepted (and everyone hoping to be a reserve) can sign up in game in "Crunch Them All League - Exhibition" using the password "stale" Once the Crunch Cup is over and the league is suitably filled, seeding will commence, and the season should start at the end of that week. - Note: The season will have extended match week(s) during the holiday season. (Roughly - Christmas and over the New Year) - So - write your name and preferably your team name too in this thread, so there is an order to admit people in if we do not get even groups of six. - UPDATE 4th of December: Current application status is as follows: Street - Greansed Lightning - In Dreamy - Kallahir Swifts - In KenDontDodge - TBD - Not applied Remthar - Dethpaw's Lizard Ladz - In hungrygnome - Graveyard Gang - In jrpeart - Khorney Puns - In Group one "5"/6 akirilus - Idiotapolis Dolts - In TravelScrabble - Super Souruses - In dubbs - Vampiric Actors Guild - Not applied (CTA:ing) Altashheth - Friends of FOOD - In Wallbanger - City of Dis'Membered - In Fallowheart - Recipe for Disaster - In Group two 5/6 Barristan the Bold - Galaxian Explosions - In Merihim - Asylum 13 Labrats - In willpower68 - dorcs (CTA) - In .marXman. - TBA - Not applied Phunbaba - BBTactics - In Workers Central Committee - Dominionists - In Group three 5/6 Grimwing - Raiding Party - Applied in game, is on waiting list jounisii - Khormunication Breakdown - Not applied in game (CTA:ing) With two spares and two somewhat AWOL it seems like we'll fill three groups pretty neatly.
