Ha, I see there is another Song of Ice and Fire team in our division. Great:powdodge:

Bow before your rightful King, northern pretender!
    ;)

(I have a necro team with a Winterfell theme on Nagg, works out nicely with the wolves and all the important chars being dead. :skull:)

my team is as cursed as the king of the north is in the books.... lost a werewolf first game in CTA and am picking up a serious injury that needs replace each match... today my norse team with block on all but 2 players couldnt out fight a skaven team with 4 runners...... Ging played reallly well, thought out each turn and then passed almost every roll... my team, couldnt pick up, block, break armour, dodge, pass a wild animal roll...just nothing.

The Targaryens had a very good game against Darkies, with even an Interception by Prince Daeron (with exactly the 2SPP he needed to level). A couple of other level ups they got will also help, particularly a speed bump on a skink. They also have a MNG Saurus though, so depending on matchup the next game might be tight. Here's to hoping I get a few nice soft targets :skull:! Being low on Saurus is about the thing I fear most as a Lizard coach (next to facing lots of claw) - protecting the skinks becomes that much more difficult.

Well, in all I'm very happy about the development so far and looking forward to the next game.
Fire and Blood will tell!

Next game is against low-TV Skaven, so maybe not that scary. ;)

You get your wish - its my all rookie 2RR skaven next for you!
Plus they used up a ton of lucky dice in the match with Alta's norse.

Ah, now that's comforting. Skaven was the only team I managed to beat in CTA before CTALE before entering this league.

I am taking a few Ogres and a bunch of snots into the Game against Alta's Norse, any tips?

Hmmm.... I'd say foul like there's no tomorrow.
Snots are cheap and Norse have light armor, both perfect.
If you want to play fair, I have no tips for an Ogre. ;)

Do your best to make sure you get 3d blocks and if you've got anyone with piling on do it every chance you get because it greatly increases your chance of KOing or CASing vs AV 7. And like previously said foul like crazy snots are gonna leave the pitch so it might as well be from practising their curbstomp.

On the other hand for your norse... I'm not sure, but dauntless on your runner might be worth his weight in gold. Plus removing snotlings, of course, but he'll have many of those.

I wonder what it's like when elves play each other, probably just a ton of high fives and 8-8 tie games.

You can use BB-manager to download replays from last season. Feel free to check last seasons Crunch Cup and the Blonde Bombers games against Commedia Del'Arte (both regular season and playoff) - "there will be blood" ;)

Or just go into "no bash" league, where bash heavy teams are banned. There are tons of injuries because of the low AV. Right enough, there is no claw, but there is also no need for it.

Btw just yesterday I played with my darkies agains WoE, it was not too bloody but still bad enough. Lost 3:1 and we both had a ridiculous amount of 1's, or at least it felt that way.

BBM sounds pretty amazing, I think I'm going to have to take a few minutes to explore it a little further.

I just found the Team Image generator... wow. Those SPP-free snots look boring. Finding last season's Crunch Cup took a little doing but I got to the match you mentioned Nikolai. Very brutal outcome for the pro elves.

I feel bad for Altashheth's next opponents, I fed him a ton of spp as he chewed through my entire snot bench. If it wasn't for his Yeti suffering WA most turns I probably would've lost my Ogre bench too, luckily it was just the one badly hurt.

Unless that yeti rolls doubles he is looking at mighty blow :)

Hopefully that match was the turning point for the king in the north
