Nik and his Ziggurats. It was not the most TV efficient but it was a thing of beauty.
Altdwarf has been pretty soul-crushing the last two seasons. I'm sure I'll be relegated back to Tier 2, which would likely be more fun, but intercontinental scheduling is still going to be a pain and if advancing back up to the top tier is something I'll be dreading rather than aspiring towards, I'm just not sure it's worth it.
Between the local tabletop league finally becoming active again, the other online leagues I'm participating in, and the "sports reporting" I'm doing for the ReBBL, I think I've gone a bit overboard with Blood Bowl filling up my weekly schedule.
Absolute respect for all the coaches I've faced the past five seasons. You've all been lovely and I hope to see you on the pitch again on some other occasion. But I haven't had much fun in the BC2 lately, and scheduling has always been an issue here, so I think Season 5 will be my last for now.
(Question, though: if I do want to return for a later season at some point down the line, I'd have to reroll with a fresh team, right? There's no way to pick back up again with my current team?)
A admin can confirm this, but i think u can put your team on the "ice" and back with them anytime.
What u can't do, is having 2 teams, so if u change your decision to 3 to 2, and create a fresh team, u can't go back with your lizzardman.
I believe @notafunhater is returning with his Wood Elf team that's been absent for a few seasons. So this seems to be the case @IsenMike . So if your schedule clears up or you're just itching for more blood bowl your lizard team should still be waiting for you.
I can vouch for @notafunhater return, as I played him in his first game back.
Yes. So long as you do not play with that team somewhere else or play a different team here you can bring your team back. We will also look at returning that team in a similar position to where they left (not T1) but that depends on drop outs at the time. Returning to T3 is pretty much always an option but T2 depends on the numbers.
Of course 1. I have STR 6 beast. I am not giving up that team as long as that beast lives.
1, on to altdwarf!
1 for Drifters
As @IsenMike said, playing in tier 2 will actually be a bit of a relief!
I'm a 1, can't quit until I've either won Altdwarf or died trying (This season I was a bit concerned about the "died trying" part, but am luckily still here, for now).
Sometimes both happen at the very same time.
Ok i was going to ask about if i can come back, but that questions been answered, so I'm afraid i'm a 3.
I've joined too many leagues and want to spend a bit more time away from the computer, so I'm going to retire from a few competitions.
This is a great league and really competative... I've learnt a lot... Thanks for the games.
