Hi, I had a game last week where a problem occured that neither of the players, nor the rulebook could solve (at least we couldn't find anything on that). What exactly happens, if an inaccurate pass is thrown to a player in the end zone or next to a sideline, and the first of the three scatters takes the ball over the line? Do you throw it in from there, or do you roll two more times to see, where it ends up. We decided to keep rolling, because the ball doesn't land outside the field and might scatter back in. Also, even if it doesn't, it is important to see from where exactly it is thrown back in again. A problem that might occur: You may have to think of up to three additional "imaginative" rows of squares behind the sideline, where the ball might go. What do you think is the right method?
