Mega Star Player
So far my frogmen are off to a great start. I won a particular cup we have locally last season, that allows me to swap my highest cost player with any other player. You retain the cup until the tournament comes around again that you won it, and the new winner takes the cup. (I won it late in the season, about 14-16 game in, so Ill have it awhile) As we have humans, Chaos Pact, Underworld, and Skaven I decided to swap the Krox for a Beast of Nurgle. ( tentacles being better than prehensile tail in my opinion )
Starting lineup consisted of :
Beast of Nurgle
2 Blitzers
3 Catchers
5 Linemen
2 RR ( +1 extra for holding the cup = 3)
My first game I won a whopping 3 - 0 vs Khorne, gaining 22 SPP in the process. Next I managed a 2 - 2 draw with Necro due to some poor dice, and my 3rd game was VS humans in a 2 - 1 win, barely scraping by with some leaps and long passes to score, while being depitched due to lucky 2d6 rolls ( I had 4 players left on the field)
Both blitzers now have block, and all 3 catchers have dodge, with 120k in the bank, and an apothecary.
Im thinking 4th RR, then another catcher, 5th RR, then a blitzer ( all assuming no replacements) This is almost 400k total though, so Ill be lucky if I manage this.
Im loving leap, it ruins my opponents plans.
