Hi guys, this might be interesting.
Secrets of the lost tomb
They have made a gameplay video now
Interesting, but suffering from the same problem most Kickstarters do... Shipping to Europe being so prohibitively high the interest you have become a moot point.
I dont mind the 40$ in shipping, its more that if they dont ship from within the EU, then I will back out as the import-tax on anything from the US is horrible
Yeah, knew I had left something out...
150$ hmm, k. +40$... Ouch, but ok. Times 1.25 (+ admin fees) No thank you.
So far I haven't had to pay customs for any kickstarters. Ebay stuff in the past, and recently when I bought "World in Flames" the computer game, yes. Kickstarters, no. Might have been lucky though.
They are now shipping from within EU
Jumpman Forever by Davis Ray Sickmon, Jr — Kickstarter
Jumpman, from C64 and other old engines, is being remade.
He has one $2500 backer coming in, so it's funded, but he needs to get past 200 backers to get the Ouya bonus.
Lowest tier where you get the game is $2, so if you are an old nostalgic like me, or usually give money to panhandlers, get in there today, or maybe tomorrow, then it is too late
this is one i look forward to receiving, i think the mechanism will work.
Kingdom Death; monster, have a last chance Black Friday option. If you missed the kickstarter you have a chance to be a backer today and only today.
Actually its until the 3rd of December but I am gutted we were not given any notice on this as with building a new PC I cannot pull £170 - £380 out of know where on no notice and because of the time of year it is I can't borrow it from our savings as I cannot pay it back until next year.
I will have to wait for retail sadly but I will say that with shipping verses getting it from (hopefully) a uk retailer the price for the boxed game wont be all that different. Now obviously if I had the cash sitting around for a silver pledge - which is the one I really want, that's a whole different kettle of fish in terms of cost now and retail but that's not even something I can entertain for me price wise at the moment.
Im just glad I was on the original kickstarter, though waiting for as long as I have with the game running over a year late I have had fears that it would die before delivering anything. Seems to be on the right track though. Still it will most likely not be EU friendly so I guess I will have to pay a lot in order to get the game through customs.
One would have thought that with all the delays they found a way to ship from within the EU.
I hate searching on kickstarter (read: I can't ever find anything), could we have a link please?
The shop, I think that today is the last day
There is a preorder for Kingdom Death: Monster http://shop.kingdomdeath.com/collections/in-stock/products/kingdom-death-monster-preorder-special
It seems that the game is finally coming this fall
I am tempting to back https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coolminiornot/the-others-7-sins?ref=nav_search. The minis look awesome and the gameplay is quite interesting. I have played their Zombicide and if the mini quality is about the same, it should be a good buy. However, these guys don't sell their games cheap...
It does look very nice. I have however desided not to enter anymore kickstarters. I simply have to many games.
Edit: And I have to fight my addiction
It is here again, at the time it was the most popular board game ever on kickstarter and now there is an update. It surpassed the original amount in about 2 hours Now it is over twice the orignal.
Wow, that sounds pretty awesome but the ante is pretty high for any non-hardcore fans. Or do I mis read their backing levels?
It does seem like a lot. $250 for the basic game , another $100 for some random unknown stuff and a whopping $1666 for everything ( including previous kickstarter ).
I am amazed that nearly 1000 people have gone the everything bundle.
The detail on the miniatures does look rather impressive though.
I am considering it.
